Before you join get more information about the bounty you want to participate and get more info in the manager if the manager is trusted or not if you do that then you know if the bounty is scam.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.
Oh, man. If only there was an answer to your question. There are certain rules for choosing the right company, but over the past year everything has changed so much that even they do not help to make the right choice. The only thing that I can say is that it is undesirable to go into many local companies, especially in Russian and Indian. With respect.

First of all, your own experience will help you calculate the fraudulent ICO. Analyze the team and the idea of the project. Look for information about the project on the Internet.

First of all, you should always check the Team and see if they are real people. This for me is a big red flag if they are pretending to be people they aren't and also if they hide their identity for so called privacy reasons. I have been scammed int he past way too much not only in ICOS but by developers who never showed their face and got me to stupidly pay upfront for work they never did and they ran off with my funds. Therefore, you have to make sure there is a proper transparent team with a decent track record in order ti know it well..

Very many ways to know the bounty is a scam or good. If the project does not have a clear vision of future missions it may be one of the bounty scam. And it all depends on the bounty manager. If the bounty manager has a good experience. Probably very little chance the bounty is a scam.

Not many people know the scam project. Most of them, know the scam project after the project is already or is running. Usually, the community knows that the project is a scam after the team from ICO managed to get money from their coin purchases made by investors. Then the team took a run for its money, without updating any information related to ICO.

Do research, look ratings, notice their Future plans because sometimes it is too good to be true and it is very hard to notice if the ICO is scam nowadays because they are good in fooling investors. Reading the whole white paper seems boring but after you read it, you'll say to yourself that it's worth it. But still, it is not enough to determine if it is a scam or not, what you could do is to wait for the result. In general, everything comes with experience. Afterall it is your own risk that you are willing to take it or not.

Just take a serious reading on whitepaper and you will know if the project is legit or not. Reading this might help you to spot some wrong info in their whitepapers that can be lead to scams.

Bounty hunters sometimes don't get awarded the stakes or these are quite low yet that's crypto market and we may receive more in the future.

The main criterion by which you can determine whether the ICO and Bounty program is fraudulent is to analyze the project team and their profile on LinkedIn. The second point that you should pay attention to is the rating of the creator of the theme on bitcointalk.

I have never characterized the characteristics of a scam bounty. But i always check the ICOs of the bounty in Icobench because i think it will reduce the possibility of a scam. Icobench has the advantage of having to perform every team's KYC from the ICOs.

This subject is so discussed. You just need to look for some things like, members of the team, their history. Roadmap, APP if it is coming soon or is already on the market, investors, support, media, website, whitepaper. And cross your fingers and hope that everything will work out for them, so to you as well. Smiley(

I always look at the bounty managers first because good bounty managers will have checked beforehand if a certain project is valid or not but of course this is not the only aspect to consider, since some bounties have their own managers. Then I check how much the project already has raised and if their vision and the hardcap they require and most importantly their website has some flaws. I have seen several projects who had a hardcap of 40+ millions where I found similar projects with a better team, better website and better whitepaper, which required less. And if they don't show how far they are in the ICO phase and how much they have collected already, then I usually pass on the bounty.

One of the best ways of knowing a scam project is to study the project whitepaper carefully to detect certain flaws associated with the whitepaper. Many scams ICOs don't have eligible whitepapers, instead they make copy work from other whitepapers.

In my own idea, i assume tgat the bounty campaign is a scam if its creator has a minus trust issue, we can ussually see this in his or her profile at the left side indicates trustworthy or not, if ut is red or a negative number then that person is prone to scam.

indeed very many things that we can consider in choosing bonty so that no one. managers, white papers, concepts and teams are the main things that we should look at. but still not enough because sometimes there is a very nice bounty but ultimately scamp

You have make a research first about the project and the team before we participate on that bounty, you have to look to their whitepaper and roadmap where you can see a hint if the ICO's is a scam. Just do investigate first before you jump onboard.

I think there are red flags if you check out google and you can't find them on these popular ico rating site also if the team doesn't seems to be traceable or have an online presence. It might just be a scam.

A good project certainly has a good team structure and obviously, if the project does not have a clear team it is prone to fraud. then the rules that exist in the project must also be clear, and not messy. then the allocation of prizes also makes sense, if there is a project that is not clear with the allocation of funds that are too large, and the lure of the prize is too big it is also prone to scam.
