How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

If you don't like to do investigation on our own you should check on popular websites such as icoBench, topicolist, icowatchlist and see how good the projects are rated and if they are on the list on the website even.

Other include you doing proper research of team members, idea behind and all others necessary stuff.

Well, you can still look in the search. Can the company where participated in public places. And do not be afraid of your face. This reduces the risks of fraud.

First of all I look at team, if they are OK - website good or lame, than product - do I like it or not, than bounty allocation, as far as I can understand, top projects always pay to bounty managers with big name. But always can find a hidden gem  Shocked

As a rule, this is seen primarily in the quality of the design of the project
then, look at whether there is a working alpha version of the project

I look at the project first and then their communication on telegram as well. If they're easy to reach and actually respond, they're usually good. I'm currently part of a really good one and they're also airdropping 15,000 tokens per person. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3173983.msg32852311#msg32852311

You can tell if the campaign is a scam if there is no updates inside the Google Spreadsheet. They need to stay relevant to survive.

There is no way to tell, because these projects can turn the table easily and you wont know until they have run away.Shady businesses needs a lot of time to be successful and untraceable that is why we need to be pick with these bounties, always ask the community and other people if what they can tell about the ICO or bounty so you will have an idea if it has redflags.

If rules are not clear, you shouldn't participate. I was reading about LuckyToken Bounty again and again until I was convinced of its truthfulness

We can understand if an ICO - and the relative bounty -  is a scam using the best tool at our disposal, but not everyone knows how to use it: our brain.
With a minimum of attention, discovering scams is really easy.
Those who remain cheated deserve it.

The key is looking at the team. An ICO must have clear a public team members that show their real faces and have a verifiable identity, if not ... suspect.
I usually only pay attention to the team, if it is public and there is information about it on the Internet, then I participate in this bounty.

Theres  no one can tell because until these people has already run away with millions of dollars in their pocket.Researching wont work if these people are professional scammers, which they will use other people's profile so that the project will look more legit ,commonly you wont see any redflags with the project that is why you wont know if they are going to turn the table.

The most important is to see the team members and check them out. Second most important is design. Is it stolen from somewhere or it is original? Most of the scam projects are not very good in details.

My first analysis is his project and his team's openness can be verified. Then do an investigation on popular sites regarding the rating, the higher the rating is usually better to follow.

You gotta spend your resources in highly reputable projects with professional teams.

The same goes for bounties: you are gonna offer your manwork, which is also a scarce resource. The need for study remains the same.

Honestly there is now way you can find out,not unless you have seen some redflags like there people behind the ICO is hiding with other's profile that time you will know it will be a scam at the end! People should be doing a lot of research so lessen the risk of losing their money thru these scam ICOs and bounty campaigns!

Read the white paper, look at the development team. These are the simplest methods. I often use information on upcoming bounty companies from private (paid) sources.

Join the Bounty community on Telegram. See how they manage the Bounty, or you can check their website pages, manager info, project progress. These are the most basic ones for you to know if a bounty is a scam or a potential one. C

Sometimes these scammers are doing very well with their website and fake profiles, you wont know if these people are really the ones who are claiming to be,especially if theres no one who can interact with the participants. This is the main reason why these profiles should thoroughly be reseached,if we cannot find anything about these people surely it is 100% scam.
