The analysis is all good and great but as you say BTC moving laterally scares the shit out of me. Every time it drops a few percent it creates uncertainty. It is that issue that alts can rise quicker than BTC but they can also fall much quicker than BTC. Given that ETH went up so quickly the threat for such a correction is even higher.

ETH is very bullish going into the July 2021 for the EIP 1559 hard fork. It could run towards $5000 or higher over next two or three months.

But if the price is not an issue for the investor then you can always buy at anytime especially if you're planning to hold it for long term. Even its an establish coin dont go all in, diversify your investment since many alts are in dip at the moment.

Anyway this is a 3 years old thread, so those who buy eth at early times made a good decision if they still hold their eth up to now.

It's a long term topic and those who are first done with the plan in ethereum are very happy with this decision but now we are facing the future and the delays, ethereum is not what it was three years ago, we can't hesitate to buy it even if we have money because prices are already in new records and different from history, a few losses on ethereum is going to cause depression and have a huge psychological impact. Making investment will follow the market step by step and can't put it all, ambition like youth is not necessary
