Old prediction is a messed at this current situation

Kora ranked is no. 946 while the Ripple is still on rank no. 002. Look's like the prediction is out of place and based evidence as well.

One day, a platform will appear that will process 2 times more transactions and there will no longer be a need for a ripple.

Big/medium banks are never going to use Ripple, theyre only trying it out and will drop it then make their own technology (not de-centralized!)

Blockchain will change how we send money, but not through banks. Theyre completely against de-centralized control of financial system. We need blockchain solutions like Kora (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2876521.0) that are person to person and small business to small business
So far, banks have started to use the ripple coin quite widely in their activities. The SWIFT technology used by banks before this time has long been outdated and banks of any level are happy to switch to blockchain technology and, in particular, ripple. Of course, nothing lasts forever. If there is something more perfect, banks will use it. However, I do not see the need to replace ripple. In addition, banks are forced to work in the same system. Therefore, most likely, small and medium-sized banks will adapt to the technology that large banks will use.

I guess forecasting and ranking based on price, market value and trading volume may not be accurate enough. Some other factors should be considered.

Ripple will not die even though it has reduced in value a little. Let's not forget that Ripple has over sometime been one of the major cryptocurrencies in the crypto community to the extent that sometimes its marketcap sometimes exceeds that of Ethereum. Currently Ripple has been listed as a base coin pair on binance exchange platform and i believe strongly that this would go a long way to increase its value and overall marketcap.

I think the dream of the creators of Ripple, to sell to the big capital in the face of world bankers, but they are very greedy to give ordinary people money.

I do not think that Ripple will die. I think this project is suitable for long-term investments. At the moment I keep these coins and I am not going to sell them in the near future.

At the moment, almost all coins look sad. But I am sure that ripple is a strong project that can survive the fall of the cryptocurrency market.

I hate XRP due to it's unfair and not decentralised nature, but unfortunately banksters behind ripple have too much money to let XRP die or even to fall out the TOP-10... Undecided

I agree with you. Perhaps the ripple is not a decentralized coin. But we can use this coin in order to become even richer.

XRP is profitable to trade with, too profitable that they'd not let this die for as long as its alive they can keep making money out of it.  Sooner the people who had invest to this project will forget but soon as they pump it again, they'd come running to  quickly buy again. Those with greed are making this project run.

You know, I have a lot of experience in crypto currency, but I've never want to buy ripple, because this coin is affected by centralization.
How does crypto is centralized?

I agree with the creator of the topic. Decentralization is not an option for the banking system. It should be controlled by state bodies and never the state will not decentralize this sphere.

I'm pretty sure banks can't just steal intellectual property from Ripple. And they're so slow to develop their own stuff, they might decide to stick with Ripple.
Ironically, the larger the bank, the worse the inner bureaucracy is.
I'm not that pessimistic

They don't care about people they only care about making money for the company. Ripple is not a group of devs that wrote a white paper. It's a company that wants to sell a product and will do anything to succeed and stay solvent. People who invest in it should realize that when Ripple Labs goes under so will their coin. It won't be like when a dev abandons a project and a coin lives on within the community.

I don't think Ripple's gonna die. I understand that this coin is pumped and it is centralized, which means that at any moment it can pump even more.
