Haven't logged into my waves account in a long time.  I previously a long time ago used the waves lite client... then used the desktop waves client.  But last time it seem to updated... so what do i use now to log into my waves wallet?

https://waves.exchange

You can simply use your passphrase to access your coins again.

I'm confused so now its a wallet online?  So the desktop waves client is no longer working?

waves.exchange is the waves exchange. You can use it as a wallet of course. Desktop waves client is no longer working.
If you're looking for a (desktop) wallet only you can use wavesfx Wallet. https://wavesfx.github.io/

If you are a long term waves owner my advice is to convert your stack into usdt and leverage it x10 on binance (if you have below $10k).

You get zero liquidation risk while getting the stack back and alot of fiat liquidity for lower interval positioning.

The only cost is a monthly funding rate which is presently 0.01% x3 daily on your money.

Don't sell too early this time, it can easily go to $300 or thousands during w5 peak.

We are in w3, retracements are shallow. W3 is the most impulsive wave, tracking $14-$32 before significant retracement.

The main benefit is that you are never out of position.

Always keep a base amount of waves to hedge that $8k parabola, and trade intervals for surplus.

Intervals are:

54 cents-1.14
1.14-1.65
1.65-2.25
2.25-2.9
2.9-4.1
4.1-4.81
4.81-7.4

Future intervals may be:
0.0012 BTC (tested)
0.002 (tested)
0.0036
0.0048

I would add a disclaimer that traders only do this if they believe price will not retrace from $4 for any significant period of time or that they can competently manage extreme price variations. Price was 1 dollar less than 1 month ago.

Congratulations to the Waves team!

This is big news, I can imagine Sasha couldn't speak about it before it was confirmed.

Waves Lease

Lease

3PDxnbR1UTXrj84smhUP5m8WidRJjujfmCm
3PQFZrLdsgWoQddhZafbmrHvJ2QUwcC62VZ
8 WAVES

I would like to know if I was ever paid any stakes and how I can cancel it
It says lease next to it in explorer but no Lease Cancel, why is that?

When I do try to cancel it in the Wallet it always says "Something went wrong"  Why is that?  Happened yesterday too.
I'm a little surprised this is happening....and hope to get an answer soon.

It seems this node isn't available anymore. If I have a look in wavesexplorer it says "Status: canceled: https://wavesexplorer.com/tx/2PWzMAC5qi3kuP8wstHFrvqmTFTB3VFap3YxZzmupemD
I don't know why that Status in that Transaction is canceled

The other point is, that I cannot find your Lease Node here http://dev.pywaves.org/lpos/

But anyway. If I take a look at your account it seems that you were able to cancel the lease yesterday evening.

I was able to manually cancel it from WAVES support tip of clean cache, restarting computer and internet connection (router).....

Do you know why that worked for a web based wallet?  It's interesting in blockchain science.

I don't understand what you exactly did. So I guess, you have logged in https://waves.exchange/ first.

Here is an instruction how you activate it and how you cancel it. Did you do the same thing?

Updated CPM rates for waves compared to traditional and digital media:

Email marketing: $2.5 general audience, up to $75 ultra targeted

High end Magazines: $50

Adwords/instagram/facebook: $3 for general targeting

Postal letter stamping/printing: $3-5

Waves (at $4 cap) using airdrop service: 1.4 waves/$5.6

The problem is that out of 1000 airdrops in my 2 year experience only a few dozen maybe 100 reaches active users without disappearing in txs such as exchange transfers which clutter the wallet despite filtering options. An even smaller percent interact with the airdrop by exchanging/trading/buying/selling tokens.

A handful of these airdrops convert to website and this is equal to 50 cents/$1 which is fair value for digital CPC.

A mature blockchain audience and stellar product could perform better stats than this but for now, from a competitive marketing analysis perspective, waves is trading in the higher range of CPM/CPC pricing.

This was of course not the case 1-6 months ago at 60 cents-1 dollar.

There is a hyperbolic case for $8000 presented on Marquise $Museum twitter, and more realistically $25-$500, but this is dependant on user growth and platform familiarization so these theorethical projections must be discounted by a large factor.

There are other valuation matrices (VISA/Ebay/Twitter/Merchant market) for waves besides the mass communications branch but they are similarly valued according to user acquisition models.

Waves fair value market cap using traditional stock p/e valuation (50 for high tech sector) is $15m on base txs equation (generated value from fees 70kx0.003x$4x31x12x50)) and $650m with inflation method. Inflation method is not backed by real activity and should be discounted from final value.

Active users july/august is similar at 31k. 2300 active wallets contain over 20 waves so 31k is including multis and bots. User onramping is currently not undergoing vertical but month on month growth was 19%.

Conclusion:

Waves is a bargain at 15 cents (2016 price), solid buy below $2, fair value at $3-6 and a speculative buy over this price based on hypotethical growth projections which should be discounted in the present.

If you want in on a cheap high tech startup, buy https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/turtlenetwork/. It's a waves fork valued at 1/1000 of waves with 1/10th userbase.

I bought Eth at $7 in 2016, waves at 60 cents in 2019 and will advocate Turtlenetwork as a solid buy up to fair value $10-90 million. Only invest what you can afford to lose, I lost some money in masternodes during the 2018 worst bear market in any asset class since the onset of the industrial revolution 200 years ago.

Also called wick at waves 54 cents, Eth $90, btc underperform index crypto (like chainlink). Called 2017 crypto kitten top, waves x10 before october, and the list goes on and on.

Human factor is biggest risk in both TN and Waves.

Although it is such a confusing phrase and there is nothing clear what he want to say? Maybe he is asking for a suggestion it is good to buy on current price after a massive pump and he could be afraid of a correction but nobody knows about the strategy of big players.

If you only look at historical pricing waves has 100% of pumps crashed hard after. Waves ecosystem exchange and tech s great but the token itself has a unbroken perfect record of crashing

This bums has been insolvent for more than two and a half months, after stole money from WUSD and WEUR holders,
and close the trading of this official fiat-tokens.

I think you deserve a valuable explanation and reparation.
But I see only moderations and censorship from their side.

So, I'm just planning to get multi-millions compensation from International Monetary Fund,
because "United Nations declaration of human rights" was been violated here.
Whoever is to blame for this will have to pay bitterly for it, and turn this money back to IMF,
by decision of an international court, after investigation.

-

Quote from me David:
Let's warn everybody that you must be another one of those NSA agents in charge to bully every chain I am interested in,
if not to steal my money later on, you crypto_loserxxx. You should return to Africa, all together, where everybody is a racist like you, obviously.
And stop using those NSA computers to steal money to about all the honest people you could, before the US Army decides to investigate all in this mafia.

Waves 15 cents is not impossible considering divergence between this project and TN ($320m/$500k).

These platforms are nearly identical so x500 divergence in market cap is not possible.

It could be a situation where, if waves declines, you think $1-$2 is "cheap" and go all in with profits only to see stagnation sub 50 cents with liquidation as a result even when 1:2 leverage.

50 cents is still $50 million cap on 3000 users. Turtle network is at $500k/300 users.

There was a very sharp sell off yesterday which is why I am considering this outcome in combination with pandemic problems which is not subsiding.

Other factors that contribute to this viewpoint besides TN divergence is inflating supply and problems with low key scams by waves team such as Coinomat and WUSD which caused my nr1 M2 owner to lose $7000 which would be worth over $20k at $3.2.

There is a bull case but this is not a situation where anyone be advised to go all in or leverage. $10k maximum or 1% of your net worth. Buy Turtlenetwork for better value which may hit $10m+ if waves continues its push as this validates the tech. TN is lagging waves by atleast 1 or 2 years so my interest in TN will be at a price of missing Waves bullrun most likely.

ps. I also think $7.37 can strike before this scenario unvelops inorder to cause fomo. Waves was historically stable at $7 when btc 12k eth $400.

If this scenario is invalid, w3 impulse is still in play or recently completed and we will enter w4 after $7.37 or already have. Then w5 to double digits.

Wealth creation in crypto in 2020 requires a palette of knowledge. Gone is the naivité of 2017.

Uncertainty is a flavor of our times. Who knows, maybe all this will be laughed at in a generation if post scarcity economy. People chasing "money".

Technically WAVES one of the first dex's to come online and it has a fairly low marketcap for the DeFi sector of the moment. If this price for waves continuing will be disappointed.
