[April fools] New new rank requirements

Hoping that this is not an April Fool's joke, can someone answer me the following questions:

1. There is a formula for calculating fMerit. But how is Politeness, Virtue, Coins.etc calculated? Are there specific formulas?
2. What is the difference between sMerit and fMerit?

I was afraid to ask this myself... but since a senior member is asking I have the same question (please I read the post carefully, but still don't understand the difference between smerit and fmerit.

One more nice and intelligent step taken to improve the quality posts in the forum.  After sMerit introduction it took most of the people many days digesting new system.  There had been much criticism and on the other hand there were many people who favored this system.
Today I am experiencing lot of fun in the open discussion  but some shocking waves are hidden behind. This new system may also not be easily digestible.
As the quality of posts has improved after introduction of merit system, I am of the view that new system will settle down soon with much better results.
I wish all the best for the forum and it's members.

An obvious extension on top of Merit, sMerit, and source merit. It is calculated using this simple formula:

Please sir, can you explain to me without the formula what fmerits are? I don't actually get it because it doesn't tally with smerit, rank, merit which shouldn't be the case as far as ranking is concerned.
By the way, please what is a higher fmerit and and lower fmerit for? Any implication?

Don't get too excited yet. Looks like an April Fools joke to me. But reading the thread there seems to be a lot of divided opinions. We'll just have to wait and see, in 48hrs we'd know for sure.

Me having so much Politeness after having insulted and cursed at so many spammers and fudders, that really must be an April's Fool joke.

Since many members are trying to make take this simple just saying it's a joke,   there is some kind of sense to this.  Without just considering activity count and Merit count, when there are  many points to consider it can be a successful system, which gives members of the forum to develop many aspects on posting.

But the thing is I never intended on using words like "please" , "Sir" , and specially "Thank you" because they can be considered as low quality and kind of begging, making a reply just to say thank you can actually make it low quality, and also please, sir I have seen many members keep saying that and it just sounds like begging, you just call the person by his username it's more polite and kind of professional   that way.

Actually have no idea will this be permanent or just for fun, but the "IDEA" is good to have many things to consider for rank up.

Is that made to understand with whom on the forum to contact and whom to trust? Like if you see little numbers by every point I can conclude that this person is not respectful and generally weak users, so it's better to stay away from any serious contact with him. I just have not another explanation for that
