Congrats to the Ravencoin community on a successful  fork to a clearly more decentralized state.

We 100% believe in Ravencoin's asic-resistant whitepaper and their strength shown in maintaining it.

We believe in this so much that we are entrusting our own blockchains' consensus to it and even rewarding Raven miners for keeping things decentralized.

If you'd like to receive additional rewards mining Raven,  you can find out more here:

For all miners mining on f2pool. Keep in mind that that pool is already at 35% hashrate so getting close to 51%, also getting close to a 51% attack risk.

Try spreading your hash if you really want a good project

i think you have mistakenly had a mindset like that, try to think positive and get rid of negative thoughts
maybe some people have the same consideration with you but don't try to influence

How is going the situation with new algorithm? Is it good for both CPU and GPU,  or GPU only?
I like to know Ravencoin still remain in top 10 of the most profitable for mining

Any changes for new algo?

It seems that there are no changes the reward still the same as before and the difficulty still the same.

I don't see that all FPGAs are taken down it seems there are still many miners running FPGA with new algo it looks like it does not fix the FPGA issue.

What is the actually the purposes of upgrading the algo to new algo?

Lol... difficulty is not the same, 100k vs 300 k. Hashrate is about 8-9 TH vs 24. FPGAs were not the target, more the asics were and you can clearly see the difference.

Difference in payout from mining is huge for a gpu rig now vs before.

Only issue i see is that people went with their hash on f2pool for the most of it 30-40% almost and that could raise some risks if it goes over 50.

icemining
@icemining

I never thought I'd say this. Tomorrow's RVN hard fork is a manipulation between FPGA Farms, an ASIC Dev with pedigree, and one pool operator. FPGA and ASICS were already developed, and this was the plan all along. #RavenCoin #ScamAlert

Given that icemining didn't even understand the change that was made in the coin, I would think it's far more likely that icemining had ASICs and they're spreading conspiracy theories cause they got screwed.

Don't understand the shouting (CAPS) but ok.

If you could look at the hashrate spread in June vs now, you would see that no pool had 30-40% of hashrate. Probably payout will be better on f2pool but i do not want to move to that pool since it has most of the hasrate. Yes payout is now lower for me since i'm still on suprnova and i guess alot of the people are going to f2pool, creating a centralized situation with high risk of attack.

Try to understand mining a bit better and how it works and you will see why you are not getting a low payout if you're not on f2pool (and i'd suggest not to move there).

not only risk of attack, it's a risk of chain split too. Would be horrible if it happens at night while you can control it. I think f2pool should put a message to make some miners go out, or increase fee. If something bad happens it can have bad impact on the coin

Where did you get the 300k difficulty?

Are you comparing the difficulty shows this last month?

FPGA and ASIC is already mining since January like the FPGA community already tell us since march that they are mining RVN with FPGA.

I don't see any difference in payout the amount still the same, unlike last year that you can get more rewards compared today. I believe there are many FPGA and ASIC mining RVN with new Algo. Since it is just a program anything from a program can make a new way to mine those coins.

It is so hard to mine raven now ... i bet there are TONs of ASICs mining x16rv2 ... The algo change was pointless ... or that was the plan.

Did you see the evolution of difficulty and hasrate? Where are all those asics that are still on the network when hashrate went from 30TH to 8TH?
