I know the price of all crypto currencies are now started to recover,so I just want to convert my portion of bitcoins into Ethereum,because I hope ethereum will have better growth rate when compare to bitcoin.
So what you are thinking guys is it good idea or better hold as bitcoin.
when you think it is going to be a bull run month then hold alts like ether and increase bitcoins by holding alts . if you think it is bear run then hold btc , bcoz in bear run alts dump more than btc . you can apply above strategy for short run . for long run hold a undervalued coin so that you face no loss even in bear run like february . |

I think its a good decision due to the price growth of eth compared to bitcoin. Actually whatever your decision you are on the right track because btc and eth are good investments especially for long term.
Eth is way cheaper than btc so if you dont have huge capital its a good option and for those newbies who are looking for alts to invest in dont forget to add eth in your crypto-portfolio because in time it can give you high return.

It is a great idea to invest in both coins. Because one suits for both long-term and short term. Another one siuts for longterm only. Always two investment is good invest. If one goes another one help us. Similarly bitcoin is good for both terms. At the same time ethereum is good for long term only. Now the market shows it is in recover mode. Because most of the coins price is increasing now including bitcoin price. Ethereum also high potential and promising coins in future the value will be more than now.

I think, that this is a good idea, but if you want stronger growth I wouldn't transfer my money from bitcoin to etherium; but to smaller and popular altcoins. For example, in a stellar or iost, in any case, the whole market repeats bitcoin's movements, these coins just will have a stronger growth. |

A big price is not so important. It's an illusion. The potential of the coin is important, not the price. Let the coin cost 1,000,000, and we only have 10. If the price will grow 10 times, we will also earn 10X. Of course, if a coin is cheap, it has nowhere to fall, but this is also an illusion. |

I think strategy to use when it bearish market is to convert into Tether in other to avoid loosing any cent of investment and you can then convert back into bitcoin or any other altcoin you prefer when the market is bullish but I suggest bitcoin. |

both are a good choice. but i agree with you for ethereum. ethereum have a big chance to more grows. their community always increase every year and the team always have a good plan to develop the platform. |

In current times is a good idea but it is relative and depends on the amount of Bitocin that will sell to acquire Ethereum, we must remember that the major cause of the increase of altcoins is the result of Bitcoin, so if Ethereum obviously grows Bitcoin grows. Keep 30% of the portifolio in Ethereum and this idea not is bad and on the contrary can become as a point of safety.

There are so many things which we do as they seems good to us but later, at time when the results come, they are not the way we have expected and that this results in lot of disappointment and mental stress. However, you need to be sure that whatever decision you are making, you are fully confident and that you are ready to face the consequences. Think well before making any final call. |

market again dumping badly , and as expected with dump of btc , ether is dumping at more speed . so you should buy ther in 0.07btc range . it will be a good deal for you for short period .
i saw it many times in bear run ether falls more , in bull run ether rise up more than btc .

I agree with you, so far the bitcoin has no other function like ethereum. the only growth of bitcoin is hardfork. it's not like ethereum that can make growth in the new altcoin. ethereum gave birth to many altcoins. and they grow to compete. I believe in ethereum. currently the only investment I have is on ethereum.

it does not matter if you have to switch to ethereum but now this bitcoin will still continue to be the best choice, but having ethereum will definitely be a good one because ethereum is a stable coin. |

i think thats is a really good idea,, because i believe ethereum price could grow more if we compared with bitcoin price also with a lot of ICO project use ethereum blockchain that will be the reasonable reason for me |
