Sounds good, I mean its better to not to put all the eggs in one basket right? don't get me wrong its not that I don't trust Bitcoin but converting a portion of your holdings to Ethereum is a really good idea. Ethereum might be struggling right now but I'm sure that it will make a huge comeback by the last quarter of the year just like before.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

if i like  I will also choose ethereum to hold instead of hold bitcoin.
T is you who need to make some decision at the end and that you need to make the best possible decision so that you may be able to have some good earning at the end. Holding of the bitcoin is one of the best thing to do and that nothing other than that can help you in having some good amount of money at the end. Just stay cool and calm and that you need to keep your nerves under your control.

I think keeping bitcoin will be better. Because ICO-funded projects by ETH they hold too much, wait for ETH to rise to the market to take money for project development.

I know the price of all crypto currencies are now started to recover,so I just want to convert my portion of bitcoins into Ethereum, because I hope ethereum will have better growth rate when compare to bitcoin.

So what you are thinking guys is it good idea or better hold as bitcoin.
I think this is a great idea! Bitcoin is going through hard times now. This year is just great for the etherium! Just do it!

Still waiting for someone to answer the great mystery on why bitcoin process controls everything in the crypto market and how long do we need to wait for this decoupling to happen?

I don't think that's feasible. I will consider you as privileged to have bitcoin at the moment and you shouldn't trade it for nothing. If you must have ethereum it's not a bad idea best strategy will be have both bitcoin and ethereum. ETH too does have great potential more than prospect we have for it.

Nothing wrong with it I already bought some ETH than Bitcoin since I can also use ETH to gas my wallets when I need to transfer some token from airdrops to exchange when they have their own value on the future as well.

I would not say it is a bad ideas as you have your reason for wanting to take that decision but I think you should not convert all you have in bitcoin into ethereum as bitcoin remains the best coin in crypto irrespective of the fall. It has huge potentials and will remain the best coin. You can take some portion of it into ethereum and leave the rest to grow in bitcoin.

What you are thinking now is exactly what I am already doing. I try to change all the tokens into eth. I believe my judgment.

In my opinion, it is a bad idea to convert or buy Ethereum from you bitcoin. Better hold them than sell them and buy another coin because bitcoin is dropping again.

Well i am sure that bitcoin is a great coin and the price of this top cryptocoin will make big difference more than in the future, but speaking about this years i believe thatt its ethereum will bloom this secondary cryptocurrency will make our new year, new rich and will surely double your money as what he did early this 2018 so dont have second thoughts and sell bitcoin to buy Ethereum

Currently, am only monitoring the market trend not for the purpose of additional investment but for the purpose of stability in the market. I'm putting further investment on hold until stability return

The main reason putting all your funds into anyone of Bitcoin or Ether isn't a very sound investment decision is that about every successful investor out there will always encourage you to watch your back by diversifying your investment just in case of the unexpected. Unwilling to diversity is almost a trait of greedy and obviously that bodes nothing good for any trader or investor.

now the market is very difficult to be stable. there are many reasons why the market can not. because every second of the demand from the market is very change change and also there is another threat of mt gox

It would be best to divide your portfolio. Convert half of it to ether and hold the rest as bitcoin that way you will benefit from the growth of ether and bitcoin. Don't just your investment into one coin, spread it as much as you can.

Both of them are the best coins but personally i would rather hold on with my bitcoin as much as possible. When i was still a newbie or a starter on this forum. I had inly one goal and that is to invest bitcoin for long term and then later on by just reading the thread, i was amazed by how potential etereum aswell. And since i had enough bitcoins already thouh not that much as i wanted to. I started buying ethereum everytime i have got spare money.

what you have done is the best decision of course, you invest in both it is really amazing for me, I have the desire to be able to invest in one of them just can not, and you can now invest your money in both, especially when this Bitcoin and Ethereum both have decreased in price, and suppose we can buy it, of course we will get big profit later.

Bitcoin ACTS as a dumping ground, while Ethernet works as an appreciation ground. The key is to see what you want to do.
