I know the price of all crypto currencies are now started to recover,so I just want to convert my portion of bitcoins into Ethereum,because I hope ethereum will have better growth rate when compare to bitcoin.
So what you are thinking guys is it good idea or better hold as bitcoin.
but it's happening right now that almost all crypto prices have dropped so dramatically, so bitcoin and ethereum in my opinion are both decreasing, but I do not know if bitcoin will be faster than ethereum, or Ethereum it will grow more rapidly than bitcoin , whatever your decision hopefully will not be wrong choose. |

The idea is very good, but before its implementation it is still worth to study in detail the market and the trend of those coins in which you want to invest. Still, I advise you to leave some of the money on bitcoin, as insurance. |

Absolutely right decision. Ethereum is a very underrated technology that has not yet discovered its full potential. So many areas of activity can introduce it and as soon as it happens Ethereum will skyrocket in price.

I don't really know but If I were you, I would do that cause I more believe in ETH than BTC cause I can see ETH has good potential in the future than BTC. Last year as I can remember that ETH price had increased more than 9000% while Bitcoin price was only more than 6000%  ). I think in this year after this downward trend ended, ETH will rise back very quickly  |

It is a great idea to invest in both coins. Because one suits for both long-term and short term. Another one siuts for longterm only. Always two investment is good invest. If one goes another one help us. Similarly bitcoin is good for both terms. At the same time ethereum is good for long term only. Now the market shows it is in recover mode. Because most of the coins price is increasing now including bitcoin price. Ethereum also high potential and promising coins in future the value will be more than now.

If OP converted some of his bitcoins to Ethereum do you know what's his situation now. Bitcoin has been dropping now and same goes for Ethereum.
Eth last time was nearly $500 and now it's nearly $400 so OP do you have any update on this matter?

Converting some of your bitcoins to ethereum is a great idea, but spending all your bitcoins just for ethereum only is a big NO for me. I know how reliable and profitable is ethereum, but for me bitcoin is still the most secured and profitable cryptocurrency among the rest. So if i were you, you just convert some of your bitcoin to ethereum, and don't spend it all just for ethereum. |

I think its bad idea if you swapped all your bitcoins into Ethereum, because basically the whole price of crypto including Ethereum will depend on the development of bitcoin price, we know the magnitude of bitcoin effect right? it might not matter if you swap a few percent only |

This is also a good idea. Good luck! As far as I know ETH also has many outstanding features and can compete with bitcoin. It can go up to bitcoin in the future. This is also the idea for my next investment when bitcoin prices are stable in the market. There are competing pennies in the market, and their prices are rising. I dont know when the price will really recover but its good idea to have good altcoin to buy now when the price lower. Lower while buying has more chance to make money. So buy now at lower or never since you will loss opportunity. |

If you have held cryptocurrency in bitcoin or Ethereum that you have not suffered any special losses because basically have fallen strongly in the price of altcoins. |

The idea is very good, but before its implementation it is still worth to study in detail the market and the trend of those coins in which you want to invest. Still, I advise you to leave some of the money on bitcoin, as insurance. Yes, that is a great idea because most of the people will sell the coins when the price starts increasing and bother about them when the price starts decreasing. That's how humans nature is going to be so yes, we have to leave some money in Bitcoin because there is huge possibility the price of Bitcoin will recover soon. |

I think its bad idea if you swapped all your bitcoins into Ethereum, because basically the whole price of crypto including Ethereum will depend on the development of bitcoin price, we know the magnitude of bitcoin effect right? it might not matter if you swap a few percent only Now both are equal if you convert your BTC to ETH i think you will not see any big difference. you missed the chance long back when the BTC price was $8 to $9k that time if you converted means you may get more ETH. Better hold you bitcoins don't swap now it's not a right time. |

I think it is better to continue holding on to your bitcoin for the time being and if possible get more because it is low now and then you can make a lot of money when the time comes. It is still possible to get money from the crypto market. Good time for investing in the cryptocurrency market |

Since all the concept in crypto world like cryptocurrency trading and cryptocurrency investments existed due upon the bitcoin creation. So I believe that whether how high or low the price of bitcoin was, all those alternative coins will follow. In my own opinion, it makes no sense of I convert all my bitcoin into ethereum. I would prefer to spread out my assets rather than to stocked and preserve them in to one basket.
