are you aware of this? I entered and immersed 2 ICO. is it because btc is in the swamp? why so many these days?
Everyone wants to earn easy money, and scamming others is one of the easiest way to earn in crypto. There's no regulation in creating ICO. Anyone can create their own coin. That is why, as an investor, you should do a deep research before investing. |

Its simply because a lot of people still don't know about crypto currency.That's the thing that most of the scammers want so they can execute what their purpose.Most of the scammers learned earlier than their victim's.They really know on how to make people believe on them and the sad part is they make it very realistic.That's why my advice is to be vigilant as always and keep researching.Knowledge can never be defeat by anyone else.

People just make money as they can. Some projects simply can not realize promises. Since the fact that they presented on the papers they can not bring to life. Yes, this is a new business. We create the project, we extort money, we give an unprepared product and to start everything from the beginning.

Now there are a lot of scam projects because the developers are working to make good packaging and present people as a cool product so that people buy tokens and give their money to them and then they leave the market  |

Bitcoin prices are affecting to all market of course and icos are damging more because they are new in the market and they are newcomers to market so they drops easily in any dumps for whole market. |

The reason there are so many icos is because of the amount of money that you can make from creating icos. people are greedy and they want to make a lot of money in a short time and icos are one of the ways for them to do that. Also the icos are a good way for upcoming projects to make money to improve their project so a lot of them are taking that route |

Fraudulent projects are becoming more and more. That is why I stopped investing in ICO. It seems to me that such investments are not effective at the moment.

This thread was formed just after the bubble burst, not only for BTC but also for ICO. At the time the bubble grew, many scammers saw that investors could be easily attracted. That is why many ICOs were created, which were aimed only at raising money and disappearing. What happened later is another thing. The fall in the ETH price has crashed many projects that have not exchanged ETH into fiat in a right moment, and this is not a scam, only the realities of the cryptocurrency market. |

These days a lot of scams because scammers don't get any punishment. Getting easy money scams get greedy, they cheat other bidders and take their money.

Most projects die because they cannot attract a sufficient amount of investment. This kills even the most interesting and promising projects.
They cannot attract a required amount of investment , because they cannot offer the market anything new and interesting from the point of view of investor. I know that the market is very weak right now, but if even at this time there are projects that collect the necessary amount of money, so it means that those who could not rise at least a soft-cap should have a better approach to developing their project and improve their work in the marketing direction . In other words, they just could not stand the competition |

It's simple because its easy money for them and they just really want to earn easy money but in some cases scammer need also to be smart like they have an ICO that will captivate investors to invest .

Because many people want which is scammer create more ICO because in one ICO they will get millions of dollars.
Better don't tolerate scammer to scam more people again becaude it is not good for us because we work hard and spend a lot of time to esrn money and they easy to scam our money so better to not invest scam ICO.

It started last year and I think a year before that where people are stupid enough to invest into something they don't know about even if it smells like a scam. It is too easy to make an ICO and pay bounty hunters some useless token while waiting for investors to invest in your shitty token. I doubt it's going to stop anytime soon.

90% of all ICOs are all scams, people are becoming very greedy and thus the rise for fake ICOs and the innocent ones that knows nothing about it are all falling prey to them. ICOs is a no no from me

not because of that, but because it makes ico scam very easy and very profitable, so many people do it, they just need to create a website and social media account and think of concepts as interesting as possible so many are deceived and unfortunately something like this cannot be stopped

This kind of investor sentiment (thinking that most ICOs are scam) is common now that the market is bearish. This is why ICOs no longer have the success in raising funds they had in the past and even good projects find it very difficult to start... |

Yes we saw lots of scammed icos in last few months. Not only scammed some of them is just failed also. There is many factors behind the scenes. One of then is free and easy to use. It is very easy to develop a ico for some developers. And it is a easy way to put your hands on free money. Almost in no investment you can be a millionaire. Second reason is no regulation. If someone scammed people they can freely roam, charges nothing most of the time. And next is hype and people always put their money in somewhere without research they just need one good media or ads that's it.
