whoa.... no go.

im not accepting 50% stales....

I don't think that's accurate but if you are getting excessive stales Remember you are mining through a port forward on port 80 (to get around your firewall) and because of this setup there is no long polling. You need to configure your miner to request work more often - it will help with the stales.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Evan001: your XFX Radeon HD 5770 has been shipped priority mail!

The lady said you should get it by Friday

What do you say on Friday you take a picture holding your video card so we can put it on the website?

Congrats on the first block!

While withdrawing the bitcoins, it said 0 BTC under my balance and then "Bitcoind Query Error | Contact admin!" once I clicked the button. However the money did get withdrawn. Looks like a minor issue with the balance not showing decimal places?

yeah what it looks like is everyone who had a bitcoin wallet address your coins were automatically withdrawn to you when the block was confirmed - we are fixing that as we speak so it wont withdraw until you either request it or you go over your threshold

also if you havent received your daily reward payments its because i have not processed them yet. I am working on those very soon so expect them by the end of the night
ttyl and thank you for mining with the union! lets get this second block!

Thanks for the update, BitMinersUnion!

Minor question - were the "old pool" payouts from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=32921.msg453945#msg453945 included in addition to the first block payouts? (I'm user evan001 on the site)

Daily Reward Payments have been processed. If you did not receive one and feel that you should have it is very possible that I made a mistake. Send an email at admin@bitminersunion.org and I will recheck the db, if your average speed over the last 24 hours is 100 m/hash or more you have at least .05 btc coming.

I am going to bed now - but I will check email around 7 AM EST

thanks again for mining with the union! You guys are awesome!

see you tomorrow.

thanks for mining with the union.

if anyone is having trouble with the img tag from the site or you want to add an url to it, code it like:
Code:
[url=https://btcnetwork.com][img]http://btcnetwork.com/bmu/forumsig.php?usern=youruserhere&token=yourspecialtokenhere[/img][/url]

edit:  is anyone else see the Mhash's reported on the worker page as consistently a little low.  I know that I have watched a bunch of my 5870's stay at a consistent 420-422 but the site shows more like 360,350,370.   I know that it is an estimate, but I am just asking anyone else here if they see the same thing.?

Any pool i've ever mined at the amount of speed per gpu has always varied a great deal. But it appears to be pretty accurate. As I am sure you know Jim the speed reported on the web site does not have anything to do with how much you are paid, its your proportion of the submitted shares.

found out something useful:

when mining on port 80 from the same IP address, it doesnt like multiples.

i can mine on one card just fine, but as soon as i fire up the second, they both go haywire. and im hitting 50+% stales.

so, for the time being, i do have 600Mh/s at the pool! yay! more here than at that "ick"y place, lol.

EDIT:

Another thing, every time i submit a share, the hash rate of my client takes a hit. After about an hour, i go from 270 down to 168mh/s and from ~100% GPU usage to ~60%

if i stop and restart, it resets and starts over.
