THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE DAILY REWARDS PROGRAM SUCH A SUCCESS !

As I am sure you remember the daily rewards program was originally meant to be a temporary reward to get the first block mined and to get things rolling at the pool. We decided because we love you miners so much we would extend the daily rewards program to include the second block and you guys did not disappoint! WOW!

I just completed payments on the final daily rewards bonuses. If you did not receive your bonus its quite possible I made a mistake! (i make those often) So send me an email at admin@bitminersunion.org if you did not receive yours.

thank you so much for mining with the Union and making it the great pool it is today and stay tuned because I am currently working on some great promotional ideas and interesting ways to reward you - our awesome miners who we love so much! we couldn't do this without you - this is truly YOUR POOL !

I have no doubt at all the Bit Miners Union will be a major contender with the other big pools and you are a part of that! We have been taking your thoughts, input, and suggestions everyday and using them to improve the pool and make it better - its all about you and you have made your pool the best one out there.

I just tried to take a payout and use the donation drop down, but I got a white screen when I submitted. Anyone else have trouble giving the donation?

edit:  The payout works fine if you do not try to donate.   You guys might want to look at that.  I get a white screen on submit when setting a donation during payout.

Jim

edit:   damn,.  I just bid 290 for a vaporx 5870 and was out bid at the last second.

Here is the link to my original thread about the shares from the old pool.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=32921.msg453945#msg453945

as I stated in the thread in order to receive your shares from the old pool you had to come back and mine our first block

Yesterday I paid out a great deal of final daily reward payments along with payments for shares from miners who not only were mining when we stopped the old pool but who also received a reward from our first block

I have already spoken to Jim64 we had a special arrangement. Runlinux and iopaq I dont believe you mined on the first block but I will check the database again, unfortunately its kind of an arduous thing pouring over shares and doing math and all this (I hate math) so its possible I missed you but I will check again.

if there is anyone else that feels they should of been paid from old shares from the old pool and have not please go read the link to the thread at the top of this post and send an email to admin@bitminersunion.org - do not worry if you are owed anything you will be paid, please understand this is all stuff I have to do by hand while handling a bunch of other stuff so if i missed you I am sorry.

Block #3 is likely to be solved before tomorrow - with that being said I would like to have a promotion for block #4

if you scroll up to the top of the page you can take the poll, The option with the most votes by the time we start block #4 will be the promotion I go with.

This gives me a better idea as to what is important to our miners, its all about you guys we could not do this without you.

So please take the poll and let me know!

Also Evan001 When you get your xfx 5770 (should be today) please take a picture with yourself holding the card and email it to admin@bitminersunion.org

thanks!

well - port 80 is tricky.

The reason your work only has port 80 open is likely because it is the same port as http
any web server operates on port 80

on our server we have a web server running as well for the front end to our pool

we had to setup a proxy server in order to funnel the traffic from port 80 to port 8341

if you ask me its quite a remarkable thing that it works as well as it does
if we were not running a web server it would be easy to have mining on port 80 with no problems what so ever
hypothetically we can run it on any port we want with no issues but port 80 is taken by web traffic.
