I don't think so.Because whole world still don't accept Btc.If Btc is valid in the world then it can work properly.However according to me, Btc is only affecting economically.It'll also be able to eliminate unemployment if everyone works here.In other case it's solved such as online bill payments, transactions, investment etc.Even it'll solve many more problems,but before that it has to work as well as to legalize it.

Yes I agree on that there are some country that is not accepting bitcoin. And I believe that even if bitcoin is being accepted by the world maybe it cannot still solve world's problem, because people around the world has their own way of understanding and sight about the bitcoin, I think bitcoin cannot solve the world's problem at all. |

No it can't, the technology behind bitcoin is great and can change a lot of things but it's not powerful enough to solve the world problems. It can make a lot of things easier and more transparent but it can solve complex things like poverty and etc. Bitcoin and blockchain give people opportunity to make their life better but it's up to the person to take it or not.
Yeah, I guess we really need to focus more on the idea of blockchain technology but we also have to realize that most countries will still end up using the blockchain technology one way to their favor as they will never support the idea of decentralization. However, a lot of things are going to change as regards to this compared to the normal system of fiat as this may end up bringing some level of transparency if the government decides to adopt it. Bitcoin in itself being decentralized has already solved so many problems but that is dependent on large scale usage when comparing to global problem. |

what problem do you mean? the world has many problems ranging from economic problems, global warming to war between countries. i think bitcoin can not solve the world economic problem or even economic problem in one country that big thing. according to me currently bitcoin only able provide solutions for any individuals or companies that participate and have bitcoins as they earn extra income from bitcoin.bitcoin solve their economic problems and provide financial freedom.
Agreed as we really need to be very specific on the problems here. Sure, the ushering in of blockchain technology and bitcoin being the main legacy currency has really helped to solve some problems so far at least for the users but we cannot really say how it will eventually solve on a global scale except it becomes highly used. However, looking at the way we make transactions and how we have been a bit removed from the shackles of our government in making international transactions, a lot of things have changed. |

For example, borderless payment, swift transaction, exchange costs, and many more. It will take a long time to take place(BTC market) in all over the world.

In reality Satoshi Nakamoto's ideals were not so great as to seek a solution to the planetary problems. He only focused on the economic aspect of the present and in that direction efforts have been focused on implementing bitcoin as an alternative to today's centralized financial system.

This is more like a revolution of money and every revolution solves some major problem we have always faced in our societies and community at large. |

World problems are created by people. Why bitcoin needs to correct their mistakes? We create problems ourselves and we have to solve them ourselves. Bitcoin is only a standard of the amount of work. The quality and purpose of these activities depend entirely on us. I still see a lot of posts that support legalization. For me, all these people are bitcoin traitors.
