true Maradona opinions dosen't matter he have been a failure in everything after retiring as a player true he was a great player but when it comes to management or to be football analyst he that's not his speciality he should just lay low and keep his head down and try not to have another heart attack or overdose. Also he is taking about a robbery for columbia and himself have stole from England back in 86 World Cup
The penalty is correct because the Colombian defender who held Kane before the execution knew he was going to drop him and Kane was very smart and got it. also the ref didn't give a red card for Columbia defender when he headed Henderson .The Colombians played with agression in each game if the ref have favorite england we would seen more cards thrown

I thought they were going to lose the match in the penalty shootout, after all, they had the worst penalty shootout record in the history of the WC...until yesterday.

Sweden v England looks like it will be a low scoring game, Russia v Croatia could be worth a punt. Personally I'd be looking at the other side of the draw, both those matches should be goal fests, especially the Brazil v Belgium game. These are my guesses.

France 2 Uruguay 3
Brazil 2 Belgium 2 (Belgium to go through on penalties)
Russia 1 Croatia 2
Sweden 1 England 1 (England to win in extra time)

The quality of football is declining in my opinion. I did not find a game that was so entertaining during the World Cup held. Many technical errors from world class players and one more, refereeing decisions that can be changed after seeing the video shows on the edge of the field, in my opinion, isn't good enough.

Discounting Russia, Sweden and Belgium is a risky tale all three are capable of causing major upsets on their given day and all three will want to qualify badly, while the most pressure suddenly seems on England as they're told not to return if they loose lol. I think Croatia by far have the easiest route into the final. I don't think Russia will be a pushover especially with the home crowd advantage but they shouldn't be any trouble for Croatia. They will then face England or Sweden in the next round who are both very so-so teams who have already probably got further than they deserve. The real threats are from the other side of the tables where they will be facing either Brazil, France, Uruguay or Belgium in the final. If Croatia make it that far they'll certainly give any of those teams a good game but I couldn't say that they will comfortably beat any of them. I'd like to see a Belgium vs Croatia match in the final. Two deserving underdogs.

^  Belgium could surprise everybody tho.  They have a really good squad that's mostly underrated.  And their match vs Japan showed how mentally strong they are imo.  I just don't think Brazil can push them around...

refereeing decisions that can be changed after seeing the video shows on the edge of the field, in my opinion, isn't good enough.

This video assistance isn't a bad idea and it's essential to make the game fair, to avoid vampire bites and penalties when children falling down.
However, i dislike the fact that the referee has to move to verify himself every fault, this is killing the game, normally the dedicated referee should see the video and take the decision everytime it is required (or not).
