Russia win? I doubt this.They should be eliminated soon. Their game vs Spain sucked, all they did is take advantage of Spain playing really bad, they weren't finish any offensive moves, so all they did is have 11 men next to the goalkeeper at all times, then wait for a lucky opportunity (like Pique's stupid hand that caused a penalty)

I think Russia will get crushed by any of the remaining teams. Luka Modric is too good. Russia's only hope is using their very tall men to stop goals from happening and also win the fights against CRO defense's... but overall Russia is the worst team from all the 6 remaining teams.

I think not. Everyone in the league has a shot of winning the game as long as their hunger for the gold is there. Russia may be the worst but give them a shot to prove their worth as a contender for the title.

A nice won of Belgium yesterday, but the world cup is not over yet.
Brasil got many chances and it is really thanks to Courtois that Belgium is still in it. The first half of Belgium was good, but in the second half they were outplayed by Brasil.

Who knows, maybe luck is on their side because they are the hosts of the tournament after all, and this always gives the players an extra motivation to do well in your land, specially when Putin is closely watching the match, you don't want to lose in that situation. They will whatever it's on their hands to stop Croatia, possibly another show of heavy defense, but Croatia is one of the most solid teams in the tournament, as a matter of fact Croatia is my favorite for the winner contender of the teams left

England joined France and Belgium for the quarter-finals.
England won the match against Sweden team with two head shot , Maguire scored the first gool in the first half of the match and alli add the second gool in 59 minutes .
England play in good way , Sweden team lost this match and lost their dream in this world cup .

Giving up possesion to a quality team like England that enjoys having ball posession isn't exactly the best plan but it's not like Sweden could do anything else given the quality of the players. However, as I said a few days ago, they were gonna need something else than just a defensive tactic against England or else they'll get exposed...and they did.

Once England scored the first goal, you just knew the match was over, Sweden never had a plan B in case they conceded first since they never faced that problem in this WC, and you could see how clueless the team was in the last 15' min of the first half. Second half was better, but Pickford was immense today. Overall, the better won and deserved to go through.

England scored their first goal through a set piece and were impressive throughout. Although they missed a few opportunities towards the end of the first half, Sweden never looked close to challenging them. England's victory has put their government in a tough spot - would they continue boycotting the world cup in Russia? England have a possible semi-final against Russia lined up?

is a great fortune when Sweden can get through this stage. and England is an opponent that can not easily be defeated with a strategy implemented by swedish .. a strategy that seemed boring that it can not be applied if against the country with a myriad of stars such as England

Watching the Russia vs Croatia match right now. Surprised to see Russia attacking from the start. I thought that they would rather play defensively, like they did against Spain. Looks like we'll be having a result by the end of 90 minutes.

Russia vs Croatie 1-1, wouldn't expect Russian will score first but we saw many surprises here that everything could be seen.
One of those team have to score at least another 2 goals to kill the game otherwise they will go to extra-time or penalty kicks.

and even much more. Subasic is new Croatia national hero and Modric is the best player in the world together with  Mandzukic .Real hardly working  leaders not any pseudo superstars

It is very sad to see the host nation Russia bow out of the tournament. They have played and fought very well, especially knocking out Spain. Penalties can be cruel, but what the hell was Smolov trying to do with a Paneka in such a crucial time of a tournament? Congrats to Croatia though - playing extra time twice in a row could have its toll against them when they face England.

Croatia won against Russia 2-2 .
Russia opned the score in the first half in the match with a wonderful shot , Karamaric made the score for Croatia in the 39th minute.vida add the second goal in the first part of extra time then fernandez signed the second goal for Russia before 4 min  the end of the match , In a penalty kick Croatia managed to score four but Russia scored three.

Both team have champions league players on either side.
But France has the upper hand being in the last dance before and winning it in 1998.

England and Croatia is not as hard to judge.
Premier league players tip the scales in England's favor.
And Russia was not a very strong team to begin with being the host team and all which was their only advantage. But Croatia had a tough time disposing of them and was forced to go at it in a shoot out in being the decider.

It will be England vs France for the right to raise the trophy in this 2018 World Cup.
