If you are holding tokens in your wallet, then you need ETH to send them from one wallet to another. But I don't have that many tokens and I mostly use ETH as an investment asset.

I only use my ethereum for transaction, Im not an investor, I do trade but its super rare for me to do it, I just use it if I would withdraw or sometimes transfer funds to another wallet.

The first thing that ive been using eth is for joining in airdrop, actually ive never been a fan in eth since joining to crypto world. but now ive been using eth as gases to  do trading some new altcoins that ive received from airdrop and bounty and in terms of transaction its very fast and reliable .  ive also used eth for long term investment because it has a low price and its the second popular coin in the market.

Although yes, I am buying some promising tokens like Golem, Mana, Storm, EOS, Lunyr as they are cheap right now. It is better than holding ETH. When these projects will progress, their token prices will also increase, even if ETH price does not increase.

ETH will increase as it has inherent value that is diversified enough to stay relevant, but I'd also geuess that those assets you mendtioned have more upside.

for Ethereum I think very is suitable for use as coin invested. because indeed with the Ethereum which has a level of continuous development can generate substantial profits in the future. with the ever-increasing development of Ethereum will be very profitable by investing.

ETH has a nice price right now and it can be bought for long term investment. But I think there are a lot of altcoins with better potencial for grows.

I mainly use it for trading but I keep a portion of it for long tern investment since the market is very low now and my portfolio and eth value is far from recovering yet. Compared to other altcoin I find ethereum to be more useful and reliable for various transaction not to mention that its transactions were also fast.
