I invested large amounts of money when it was worth about 400 usd, not so long ago, and since then it has just dropped until it's current status, but I still think that I can get a good amount of profits on the long term, eth is already pumping again.

In my opinion, ETH has strong enough potential to be able to continue to maintain its existence and popularity, so that it is very feasible to invest in the long term.

It is a good and useful Cryptocurrency.
It's not as bad as they want us to believe. There are some pretty useful decentralized applications that run on Ethereum such as,
- Cryptokitty(I have never used it before)
- Status (chat app)
-IDEX(decentralized exchange)
- Bancor
- Etherdelta
- Forkdelta
- Localethereum(decentralized Localbitcoin alternative)
- Metamask(decentralized browser) etc..

Most people who scream s*coin at Ethereum don't even know these applications exist.

I am close to give up to work with ETH, only holding must be there. As we see now ETH is not so good now on th emarket and it could not be the minus of its surviving.

I hold my ethereum for the future or I can say I use long term use of ETH.  And I hope according to my prediction (i'm nearly sure) ETH price will increase.

I am using eth to trade for other coins and to pay for the transaction fee (gas) of tokens that i trade. I used to be invested in eth, but i am not interested in eth as an investment anymore. The current price is nice though.
in my opinion, ethereum is very good for investing at low prices right now so next year we will experience huge profits, still hold this coin and will get a big profit in the future.

You are right, ETH can be used as a tool for investment and profit, but also Ethereum can be used to send tokens ERC-20, for investing in projects and preserving value.

I am holding a part of my eth for long term investment because I believe that eth has great potential to grow. Also, another part of my eth is for trading.

I use ETH to be rich later.  That was a gag !  Grin Grin   I use ETH to buy other tokens on decentralized exchanges. there nobody knows me and I don't need an identity card or any other form of identity - I think that's good and so I use ETH there.

I think ETH is used more to buy or sell any altcoin. Since most altcoins were created on the basis of Ethereum, therefore its use is necessarily a priority. As for long-term investments, I would also be happy to buy a couple of dozen coins, but alas, there is no Finance for this, all invested in altcoins.

ETH are mainly used for ICO, Trading and or for paying Gas, they have significant use in either of it, but mostly they are used for either buying/selling tokens and for paying their gas price. they are also used if one has to participate in any projects which runs ICO.

In terms of the features that ETH has, I think it is more potential to trade besides that ETH is already very popular which makes it very easy to attract investors to participate in projects to achieve success. Some people may begin to lack trust in the ETH with what was experienced in the past with a significant decline, but I still believe in investing in the ETH coin that has resurfaced this month. I think this is an opportunity to start a new step to trade.

to store income from bounty or airdrop (token).
or I also use it for gambling lol.
kidding, I have repented lol.

for normal use just like you,
trading, for short or long term.
I usually use it as a payment or transaction for something.

it cannot be denied almost every project for its token base using ethereum erc-20.
so the function of eth itself is very much and helps

Unfortunately, ethereum blockchain today is not quite adapted to REAL tasks. If I wanted to use it as a distributed registry in an enterprise, I would face a million difficulties. Today this is only a speculative tool, unfortunately.

I just hold Ethereum in the hope that I will make a profit in the long run. I also use it to pay for transactions when  send tokens of various projects to the exchange or between purses.

I'm using the Metamask plugin for Chrome browser to participate in ICO, and for trading on DEX. For long-term holding, I'm using hardwallet LedgerNanoS

I almost always sell tokens received from bounty campaigns, for ethereum, which I then transfer to the KUNA exchange, where I sell the ethereum for the Ukrainian national currency the hryvnia, which I then get on the payment card  Cheesy
