I use bitcoin and eth for the purchase of the altcoin or token when I make the investment decision! ETH easy to use and fast confirmation time and quite safe!

I use Bitcoin for investing and I use Ethereum to invest in services that do not accept Bitcoin.

For now i using etherum just for For trading to buy more token etherum platfrom and participate on ICO I prefer etherum as a payment instrument to participate with cheap  gas costs that are and fast enough to be the best choice.

Now, I use the Etherium to participate in ICO. Would like to buy some Eth, as expected for its growth, but now there is no free money. Eth is still suitable for the strategy of earnings, but it is not popular for everything else except long-term investment and participation in ICO.

I have not bought any ICO at the ICo stage, i use it to transfer finds between exchanges and sell buy tokens on exchanges which are ETh base, obviously. Although sometimes ETH withdrawal fees on exchanges are significantly higher then for other coins as Ripple.

yes you are right, in every exchange receives ETH. This shows that this coin deserves to compete in cryptocurrency. At the moment I am buying an ETH for shipping GAS Tokens in MyEtherWallet to various exchange places.

I USE eth to buy ico and to transfer coins from myether wallet, so I always hold some amount of ETH in my wallet and sometimes I use it as long-term investment because I always need ETH for my transaction and buying ICOs.

Of all your proposed options I is more suitable for long term invesment. In my purse MEW kept a lot of tokens that I want to sell as soon as the market starts to grow. I think the price of these tokens will also go up . Also I'm buying on the exchange of promising tokens , and to buy I need either BTC or ETH.
