I couldn't care less who's chip it is. If it has a realistic chance of ROI, and can be purchased with a credit card, I'll buy.
just give a good price and we will go from there..

I see... Your are right. I would have to agree this does not look like the Avalon chip at all.

Textplorer, Where are you located? I can't send you the chip but I may be able to bring you the unit depends on where you are at. As long as you don’t have to take the chip off of the PCB, you are welcome to check out the chip from my testing unit.
But, here is the question... Even this turns out to be very similar to the Avalon Chip, it doesn't prove that this is a rebranded business. It could be that they purchased the design, or reverse engineered or other things or had the simiar idea and solidified the design by studying the Avalon unit.
Hope it’s not the exact chip but if it was, they may have purchased the license or rights to brand the chip as their own and we will not find out what the deal was.
Sweden, feel free to send me your unit for a second review (if you´re up to it) MrTeal: There´s some differences, on paper, yes... but i´m confident that´s just paper wise.

No offense, but I'm so tired of seeing "I'm this manu's cheerleader and I'll keep answering positively for them while they remain silent". I work 70+ hour weeks and I can still post on this forum, no excuse for a vendor to not keep people interested.
This - while not on ignore I generally don't read anything this sushi guy says as it is always blatant pump up rah rah bullshit.. gets old real fast.. Yup!!

If u look carefully his English is not as bad as he makes out. Uses very unnatural vocabulary considering the poor grammar (ie high level vocabulary). I think whoever it is is purposely dumbing down their ability for whatever reason.

ps: can these overclock? operating at 45C is relatively cool, it would be great if it could be pushed to 200GH
In this batch, the clock frequency of chip is 350MHz, and the overclock interface didn't be disclosed. We think stable running is more important than overclock running.

Its been 24hrs since payment for most of the winners and there has been no news on payments being receivedor units shipped/shipping...even an arbitrary update like "we are packing the boxes for ups now" would help set a timeframe

Since you bid on the miner, you counted on the Bitmain to deliver... (Glad to see you won! and it should ROI with higher resell value as well!) Right now should be about 3AM China Time As I met their group, there was no sign of scam but rather very honest group of people working as a great team almost 24/7. Most of the core members were getting 3 hours of sleep while working non-stop while crashing at 3am on the lobby cauch for 30 minutes here and there. When they woke up, they simply went back to work. No crazy drama like you see in USA Reality Show. They had a very realistic timeline table for the project and so far, they were all met ahead of the schedule. They were simply happy people very excited with their project/work. They are very eager to deliver but a bit disappointed on so much negativeness I was fortunate to be able to join them for a few days there. Each of them knew what their task was and they trusted each others responsible area. Eating snacks at 3am to either stay wake or just to munch on something while running the burn-test or working on the units for minor trouble shooting. They were just like other professionals I knew from other side of the earth! They were very security conscious and care about their employee's safety and privacy as well. (Not just for the top management but all the way to the production line staffs!! )

might i suggest waiting until wednesday, so that recipients of the first auction can test the units and report back? Hopefully my UPS tracking number isnt a 4kg pile of bricks lol also, 2hrs is very fast, why would you expedite it like that? 12hrs is better IMO

sorry typo... 30 @1 would be sweet... if I can get that Here is another product update... I know some of you "meanies" would say, "don't want to hear it", but for the ones who are seriously thinking about buying the unit might like to know. After running the unit for almost 48 hours, there were few times, the internet connection was dropped. What did Bitmain AntMiner do? It made a lot of clicking noise from the PCB while there was no internet connection, when the internet connection came back, it start mining on it's own. (So if you lose the internet connection for whatever the reasons, as soon as the internet connection comes back, it will auto mine BTC without any intervention) When the miner loses the internet connection, the miner status page seems to reset the time counter (timer) but no negative effect to the mining operation. The last picture is the screen capture of BTCGUILD screen after on-off 50 hours of mining. (internet was disrupted a few times in the about 4-hour down time) There are two (2) ways to tell if your miner lost the internet connection. First, you’ll hear the clicking noise from your miner. (Also the 2 small green led lights on both side of the miner will stop flashing.) The second way is go to the miner status page and the running timer (Elapsed) will reset and start from “0”. Here is the video to show what the minder does, when the internet connection was disrupted. It make constant clicking noise, and the green LED on the PCB (Main PCBs for the ASIC Chips) will turn off and the fan would turn off. When the miner regain the internet connection, the clicking noise goes away and about 30 seconds or so later, the green LEDs will start flashing again. (These Green LEDs indicate the miner is actually hashing) Then, the fan will starts. When you go log onto the miner's control panel, the time counter on the miner's status page will be reset. http://youtu.be/3qNxES1mnZc Oh, Bitmain has their Facebook page!!! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bitmain/602849346422962Previous Photos & Videos, you can view them at ==> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330665.msg3676573#msg3676573aSo I can go to sleep or go to the movies without worry about miner stop mining. Later today, I will update this with the Video or the Audio from the clicking noise when I lost the internet connection. Also, the built-in fan self regulate the speed based on the unit temperature, I think that is why the temperature stays in 40's at all time. Also, some one donated us 0.1 BTC for the review trip funding! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! We are planning to do some VERY POSITIVE BITCOIN things on 12/9 or 12/10 or right around there in one of the BIG CITY in USA. We may get the media's attention or we may not, but any donation would be appreciated!!! (We are trying to fund 10 BTC for the event to make about 1,500 happy people)*10 BTC is directly used to make smiles on many people's face! We actually cover the cost of this event as our Random Act of Kindness Event Donation Address: 19QeCZ6sLX7vcsTxESUtZYBrLkcZYzi8x9P.S. Donation for the Future ASIC Reviews are in my signature area...
