Got my S1 coupon this morning after sending an email last night.
Mine showed up this morning, BTC0.05 off of 2 (ordered 3/28 and 4/9). I got 2xS1's for BTC1.108. Now I just need to find a reasonably priced PSU that can support them... Energy is really cheap for me right now so it doesn't have to be really efficient (less than 6c/kWh for wind). Awesome, ya, I have 5x extra coupons. I would love to give 1-2 of them away for tips to build my Trust up on this site. Let me know ya'll!

So...according to UPS my latest Antiminer is "registered with a Clearing Agency" and awaiting final release. I have never seen this status on my other Ants...anyone know what it actually means in terms of delayed shipment?

I get this all the time on my Bitmain orders... usually when it hits Alaska. Doesn't really delay it for my shipments. It sits in Clearance for about a day, but I usually get my S1's within 3-4 business days anyway. That's actually pretty fast coming from China to the States.

OK..thanks...I have been amazed by the shipping times from China in the past. I ordered a PSU from NewEgg on the same day I ordered the Ant. For a while it looked like the Ant (shipping from China to PA) was going to beat the PSU (shipping from NJ to PA).

Gotta say from what little I have read, if coupons is the thing people are complaining about (not that they shouldn't if they are told they are getting them) that is an amazing company in this industry. I am in the process of putting in an order for an S2 as they certainly have proven themselves over and over again. Great work guys keep it up!! (and fix the coupon thing lol)

Are you even going to try pricing them reasonably? One order of these = ~6 S1's, except at around 3x the price.

At least is my own opinion. Obviously they are novelty items and will never return the price paid, but even for novelty it's pricey, especially with the MOQ as well as prices on their other hardware. Current product lineup is basically S1 (won't ROI, but cheap), S2 (might ROI, competitive), and U2 (hahahaha, what was the price?). There isn't much competition for USB units, but I'd assume they actually want people to buy these things for as little as they are likely making. I've got a USB array back from the AM days so that I can put around 200 units online in ~15 minutes if I can fill it with super-cheap sticks like these.

I think an S1 is more likely to ROI than an S2 at this point. That said, I do have cheaper power than most, so although the percentages are the same, the actual dollar amount is different. At the end of the day I never sell my bitcoins anyway, so who cares, lol.

Updated AntS1 cgminer binary to 4.3.2aThe binary and README are in my cgminer-binaries git here: https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer-binaries/tree/master/AntS1 <-- Follow this link to get the new binaryRead the README on the screen there for how to replace the /usr/bin/cgminer binary in your AntS1 with the new one. Thus it includes a client.reconnect patch:"minimise the risk of the man-in-the-middle attack of redirecting you to a different pool" This, as usual, includes the cgminer patch for the luci web display. There's info in the README to update the luci code if LSTime is showing incorrectly after the update (most newer AntS1's) I've also documented steps to update the cgminer-monitor to restart cgminer if Elapsed Time is greater than 4 weeks. This usually means the clock has messed up on the AntS1. If you do mine for 4 weeks non-stop, it's simply a cgminer restart so no problem. My source for this version is here: https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer/tree/ants1-4.3.2a-85fcf0cThis binary includes all cgminer changes up to 4.3.2 and forward after that up to: https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/commit/686d648f15d6c70f252c411242ecd7edc7294f90

Hi, getting my S1 this week Yesterday I plugged it, set it up and started the S1. unfortunately after a few seconds on, I saw this at the miner Status for the first chain: oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooxoxo Hashrate was ~160GHS average. Today I saw this on chain 1: oooooooo oooooooo oooooxoo ooooxoxo Hasrate dropped to 157.3GHS, maybe falling... What is going on? I restarted the S1 several times seeing some more chips offline, after refreshing the page it ends in the shown "OX" above. I did not overclock, PSU is working fine, a little bit over the Watts told on site, but I ordered a GOLD state PSU to reach better Watt consumption. But what is wrong with the chips? ? second blade is fine. thx

Unplug each blade and check which one is the faulty.
Check for missing smd parts. I have seen that.

Possibly some chips are not pinned correctly
thats the most unlikely thing. 1) reboot the unit. sometimes a reboot reads all the chips properly while using the PSU to power on/off causes initial voltage jumps and takes a second to charge all the capacitors. 2) check for anything damaged - primarily the capacitors. Its usually power related. I had a unit arrive on friday with a capacitor snapped off and when booting via PSU on/off it registers most of the chips as 'x' and/or marks them dead/missing. However, a reboot via the webUI causes the system to initiate will all 32 chips on that board working normally

Poster did not indicate how unit was powered on and off. Also indicated psu was fine. Could be anything wrong, needs to test and narrow down possibilities.
