I guess it is just a pump. The market seems not growing at this moment even some alternative tokens are not growing. Bitcoin at this moment started again to decrease and there are some news that are involved in this increase about the tax.

Pump or not, we will find out soon. If it breaks 9200 them btc may grow further (although I don't think it will happen now).

Seeing green colour beside values makes really happy. After almost 5 days we are able to see a good hike crossing $7500. Almost $1k has increased in an hour. Hope this trend continues. Tax day would be a reason behind this hike? If the value reaches $9K, it would be more than enough to travel at $9000 instead of being at 6 to 7k. Hope this pump remains healthy and do not go back to 6k again.
After a long time seeing a good increasing in bitcoin price is really too much interested, people got some hope now and thinking that they will see the price trading above 19000$, I think those people who have bought bitcoin above 19000$ also now getting hope to see bitcoin trading in that price once again, i think we should not waste anymore time and should invest money in bitcoin. |

The fact is whatever we all think does not matter in the current price phenomenon because if all of our thinking is what determine the price, it would have climbed higher to say $50,000. Its by action. The whole of the noise about it getting green I have been seeing is because we have gotten accustomed to the $6000+ to have seen a $1000 increase as a green to be joyous about. For someone who bought when the price was $10,000 I am sure this is just a normal movement that shows some home and not a green to him. Let's all ride along and stop the thinking. |

It was a descent pump until the people who held it for not more than 6 months decided to panic sell it and the price started getting a little down, but not much this shows that now it's getting stabilized around a higher value than it was before so we could hope of a pump soon enough , this was on a descent scale but we all could hope for something bigger.
Maybe it was just to show how bitcoins ain't dead but rather it's recovering but it will take time.

It's a break of an equilibrium pattern that we had for weeks now. There was a tightening pattern and eventually we had a break combined with the good news that we had lately and the short squeeze. It's not an artificial ''pump'' and it's consolidating healthy. We are probably going to see another attempt at breaking the 12k resistance.

Really hard to say because its barely a day. For now I would say that its maybe a pump, but we need to see things in the next couple of days. Yes, double bottom was hit and it only makes sense for the market to bounce back after that. But I'm still looking for news that may trigger this sudden onslaught of investors pouring big cash in the market. So lets see if this is the break out that we all be waiting for. Previously, when we had a breakout and every one says that the bearish trend is over, something bad happens and eventually it's collapses so I don't want to jinx the market but rather observe and see how it pans out specially this week, we need to find out if this is really sustainable or not. |

I think this is a sign of bitcoin at the point. if at the end of April there is an increase up to $ 9000 then it is likely to continue to be pumped until mid-year. I looked the price at coinmarketcap, it was so lucrative to me. I think it's just a temporary pump. It will be down soon, but this will help to refresh the market. I think within the next three months, Bitcoin will create its new market with a stable price.

We could not be declared that it is a good news now, OP's question is no one answer on that we don't know what will happen next in the price movement due to the price was not really predictable. As what I have seen now I am happy because cryptocurrencies rapidly bouncing back in the market and hopefully it will continue and hit the highest price last year in the month of December.
Well, as of now we will wait further update the movement of cryptos and let's ride the rollercoaster go up high.

It's not that this pump is massive enough justifying people to directly short it. In this market shorting should be done when you think the market has gone up too much in a short period of time, which isn't the case now. On the other hand, going short also depends on how you do it. If you short leverage with an insane multiplier, the risk you expose yourself to will be insane as well. I see the potential benefits of leverage, but it's too risky. I wouldn't even go 5-10x leverage on my trades, let alone 100x as BitMex allows people to do. One miscalculation and your entire balance is wiped out with that multiplier enabled. It's asking for problems. It's not worth it. |

I really hope that this is the beginning of the markets recovery. We know that the cryptocurrency market are in the bad situation lately, but many predicted that this month is really the start of the cryptocurrency to recovered. To be honest I didn't really check the Bitcoin price since the prices goes down. Because It will only make me sad.

Look, there is no point in saying that we are all of a sudden going to reach an all time high just because this pump happened. Yes, bitcoin went up. A lot. But that doesn't mean anything, I don't think that it's a change of the overall trend at all. In fact we should still be bearish. There was a pump that triggered short positions being liquidated, which meant that price went up even more. just be careful about altcoins they are misleadingly rising because bitcoin price went up and it seemed like a good FOMO situation to the newbies in the market. most of them will come down very hard very soon and the rest may not last long up there on their higher prices since there are a lot of bag holders waiting for an opportunity to dump.
I would be careful entering the market right now, FOMO is a huge irrational factor for buyers and I think as fast as the price went up it could go down just as much. You're much better off buying when the dip comes instead of after the price rises by 10% in a day. |

you are right buddy, the market these several days the declining very fantastic (down) that makes everyone lose a lot of money but if the current price increase is a step towards $ 20,000 then this will be very good news for everyone in crypto and right now I am not know pumps or indeed increase significantly |
