Oh, and that ‘return to sender’ idea? Rarely works smooth, especially with CEX, where deposit and withdrawal addresses differ.
How about prove to us that you made a withdrawal/a deposit from an exchange (by recording a process of signing in to a CEX and showing account details along with withdrawal history), if everything is OK, then the person can generate a deposit address for refund. I think I have seen some services use such procedure on users to prove the source of funds. This can also work for refunds once it checks out Unfortunately, most refund issues arise when users refuse to cooperate—angrily insisting they've been scammed or robbed while ignoring both the exchanger's pre-incident rules and post-incident KYC requests. In our experience? The chance that a user who rejected KYC would then agree to record a screen-shared login session for the exchange? Basically zero.

Bestchange, as a renowned aggregator, could certainly influence exchangers to go more in the direction of adapting to customers; unfortunately, this is not the case. Completely ignoring the advice and suggestions of users, it is already obvious that the upgrade of the platform and adaptation to new trends have been neglected.
We value all feedback — some of the most useful ideas get integrated into either our current version or the roadmap for the upcoming fully redesigned platform (launching by year’s end). That said, not every proposal deserves implementation, even if its authors believe otherwise. Compared to other aggregators that even offer a guarantee to their users up to certain amounts, BC is somewhat disappointing.
We’ve explored this feature repeatedly, but every analysis revealed more downsides than benefits. Guarantee funds make sense where reputation systems don’t exist, forcing reliance on third-party trust. But when exchangers risk permanent delisting by scamming users, the threat to their reputation outweighs any short-term gain — they’d lose far more than $n in a rogue exit. - Users would bear the burden of proof for transactions, while we’d struggle to verify claims without full payment data access.
- Instead of resolving issues directly with exchangers, users would flood us with compensation demands, blaming us for theft — since in their eyes, we’d become the liable party.
Imagine a $1-2K safety fund — enough to cover average users. A scammer wouldn’t balk at losing that sum; they’d wait for a few large transactions exceeding the fund’s size, then disappear. Victims would split a pittance ($300 for a $2K loss? Would that satisfy anyone?). But why debate this when outright fraud is virtually extinct? Such cases occurred once every 2-3 years historically — and we’ve had zero incidents in recent years. A guarantee fund solves an overstated problem with negligible relevance today.

some users claiming that after many LE users, bestchange is changed a lot. Anyone have a idea about it?
Our policy toward Low-Entry users hasn’t changed at all, and their share of overall traffic remains the same — we’re honestly confused about what exactly you think has shifted based on these rumors. If you’re referring to the increase in high-profile AML incidents, that’s partly true, but only because of broader global trends sparked by EU regulators back in 2020. Over the past 4.5 years, these cases have piled up, even though they were incredibly rare before. But let’s be clear: the actual numbers are negligible — we’re talking single-digit cases per 100,000 transactions — and most involve real fraudsters who then stir up drama to pressure us. So no, there’s no hidden policy change; it’s just noise amplified by a handful of bad actors.

If we are talking about a potential scam by exchangers, the guaranteed amount means just that. You would cover the potential trade exclusively in the amount specified in advance. The average user would have to keep such things in mind. At least these are some of the basics of the 'escrow' service But why debate this when outright fraud is virtually extinct? We cannot say that there were no incidents, certainly your fault is the least, because you have very little influence on the transaction process itself. As an independent user, I would like to have an additional guarantee from the aggregator, if possible. I understand if this is an additional complication that you don't want to have, but I noticed that similar services offer something like that.

I understand if this is an additional complication that you don't want to have, but I noticed that similar services offer something like that. This is actually a very logical idea, and it's come up within our team several times before. But whenever we weigh the potential benefits against how much it would complicate operations, we always end up dropping it. Let's be clear — if this were some no-name site adding shady new services, then sure, a deposit system would make sense. That's exactly why smaller competing platforms (the ones without our level of reputation) have to rely on other security measures for exchanges. But for us? Getting delisted from BestChange costs exchangers far more than any reasonable deposit ever could — they'd lose a massive chunk of their traffic (and revenue), to the point where they might have to shut down entirely or lay off most of their staff. As for actual compensation, each case is handled individually, and in some instances, victims of exit scams have gotten reimbursed even without a centralized insurance or compensation fund. But we can't guarantee that outcome — we can only promise to do everything possible to make it happen if something like that occurs. That said, in recent years our preventive measures have been effective at identifying and stopping any attempts at intentional business closures with criminal intent before they can be executed.

Why don’t cash exchange offers have fixed rates? This is a characteristic feature of cash exchanges. They cannot take place without a meeting, as money must be physically exchanged, and a meeting requires additional coordination, such as agreeing on the time and location. As a result, the exchange rate is not fixed at the moment you create the order. While you are finalizing the details with the exchanger, the rate may change, and potentially not in the way that you might enjoy. For cash exchanges, the rate displayed on the monitoring platform is indicative, not final. The actual rate will be determined later, and the conditions for this will be outlined in an email you receive after placing your order. Be sure to read it carefully to understand the exchange process and how the rate will be calculated if market conditions change. Please keep in mind: you will never see the ‘Floating Rate’ sign in cash-based exchange options. That’s not an error—it simply reflects the real workflow for handling cash exchange orders. Always take this into account when choosing an offer and confirm the specifics with the exchange service.

I’ve observed a negative trend with some exchange services listed on Bestchange: they now require users to provide their Telegram account details. Given that you already submit other personal information during the exchange process, this effectively deanonymizes your messenger account as well. In whose interest is this information being collected? There’s no option to refuse — if you do, they simply decline the exchange. Is Bestchange aware of this practice?

BestChange is an exchange monitor for "AML Complaint" exchangers, so I guess you know what AML compliance means. Once you decided to use an AML compliant exchanger, then say bye bye to privacy and anonymity. I don't think they will mind the new trend, in my opinion. If you want an exchange service that offers full anonymity, then maybe you try looking elsewhere.

I wonder why they are taking so long to have it resolved - https://www.bestchange.ru/changelly-exchanger.html?review=3029495, and I wonder why bestchange decided to turn the review neutral even before it's resolved. It should stay negative until it's resolved. How do you sincerely make someone wait for 6 months without any verdict?

It is part of the broken review system on Bestchange. If the exchanger writes any response, even if it doesn't bring anything new or solve the problem, the complaint is closed as solved and gets a neutral tag. It can be noticed that only a few exchangers have negative feedback from users, which is quite unrealistic because we have seen dozens of accusations here on the forum against BC partners.

It's probably best to consider neutral tags as negative reviews. In general, you should take services that have high reviews, most of which are good, and then search for them here or online before trying them.

You are not the only one who got that impression. It has been pointed out to them several times here, but they appear to be satisfied with the current status. In the end, BC does its job for profit, we can't blame them much for that. The only question is how long-term it will affect their reputation as a reliable service.

I think you haven’t really looked into how BestChange actually works. If you pay close attention, you’ll see that most of the exchangers listed there don’t even have financial licenses. So what kind of AML compliance are we talking about here? And if you look even closer, you’ll notice that BestChange is clearly targeted at Russian-speaking users. For the record, it’s already been blocked in at least four countries for financial violations.

It doesn't push the exchangers to resolve the issues quicker because even the negative feedback is just neutral. But imagine if there was enough visible negative feedback, the exchangers would labour to get the issues resolved as soon as possible or the reputation is going down. I was bestchange could borrow a leaf from platforms like casinoguru.

Hello, I was advised to write here, and was told that perhaps you can help me in interacting with the exchanger go-go.exchange. I have already written to you by e-mail, but responses there are extremely rare, perhaps you will see here. The fact is that after sending coins to this service, at first the support ignored my requests for payment for a long time, and after 1 day they even came up with the idea that they need to get KYC from me, since my payment exceeds 10 thousand dollars. This is complete nonsense and this nonsense was not indicated on the pages of the site, as well as on the monitoring page. This exchanger has been holding my coins for more than 2 days and it seems that they are not going to return them. I will not follow the lead of these scammers and provide any data, since I am sure that my coins are absolutely clean and all the demands of these scammers are simply aimed at getting personal data and holding my coins as long as possible in the hope of my death. I ask you to influence this situation. Please, help to return my 11000 USDT. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5552339

Please, help to return my 11000 USDT. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5552339How did you decide on this exchange? There are so many better and more reliable ones on the market. Plus, you sent a rather large amount once, it was almost certain that they would ask for additional KYC. Unfortunately, you will have to do KYC, and Bestchange can't help you much with that.
