I've just installed the paccoin wallet, am now syncing.. Then i'll try to move my +/- 11,25 million coins to the wallet. Hope it'll come through swiftly.

Thanks for the warning guys! I was waiting anyways for the wallet to sync before sending. Hopefully all gets sorted out tomorrow, i don't mind getting some more pac's simply for keeping them in my wallet :p

I just noticed the big jump in price of Paccoin. It is nice that we are reducing the money supply by 1000.

The problem now is that we cannot withdraw from Cryptopia. How will the swap be done if we cannot withdraw?

When will we be able to withdraw again?

Any idea, devs? Will you have a Plan B ready if people can't withdraw in time for the swap?

The reason that it is not the other way around is that:

With the price of 1 old PAC coin  at 1 Sat you cannot drop lower than 1 sat, keeping the bloated sell price, indirectly pulling up the price of other trading pairs (e.g., in DOGE) from , say, equivalent value of 0.1 sat to nearly around 0.8 satoshi. That's why trading pair in DOGE denomination is not maintained at one of the exchange.

If you start trading with 1 new PAC (after the 1:1000 reverse split) the value would not necessarily stay at the corresponding sell price of 1000 sat and may drop to 100 sat and still rooms for even low prices, especially with presently bloat prices by artificial means.  

I think it is a different matter.

Its more to do with able to perform transaction, than trading value.

Both exchange are currently unable to deposit or withdraw paccoin.

My guess is that the two exchanges has received and acknowledged breakcryptos warning letter.  Which most likely wallet will remain under maintenance indefinitely, as new dev team are working on the new coin.

With the conversation going on in github, it also seems that the founder dev is not going to update the current code.

Well, i sure hope all gets resolved quickly. Because of this i and others are already missing out on the staking of the coins. Furthermore, if the redemption goes forward as planned and we're unable to withdraw our funds. That's just... ROUGH

Ok im not high experienced but not so newbe in this, i've read on some pages about Pac Coin Swap (hard fork)  on 1st March, but i dont undarstand clearly whay should i do
if i am hodler of 5mil Pac on Yobit. Yobit will support new Paccoin and swap itself on exchange or i should download Pac wallet (wich i understood has some issues about installing)
and transfer my PAC-s there.
Can someone clearly wrote about this event or maybe i just missed it.

This is a hot fucking MESS.  For 2 weeks this coin is still not on an exchange to trade.  Yes I understand some people don't mind waiting till March and yes I have invested  here so I got to stomach all of this.  BUT WHICH OTHER COIN IS THERE ON THE MARKET THAT JUST TAKES A HIKE TILL FURTHER NOTICE ? 

And blame it on Cryptopia but after the Q&A today, there is nothing urgent about what they doing to emergently to remedy the situation.  I am not convinced that after they reopen I would stick around.  This is likely the first of many patterns to come.  This coin will return with a moon and dump and then it will DIE. 

No sensible person with all the other options in Crypto would put up with this SHIT.  Unless of course you are minimally sophisticated enough not to see you are being played.  I hope no one sticks around after the next PUMP.  This is 2 WEEKS gone by and loosing money.  AND THE DEV STILL HAVE THE NERVE NOT TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES BECAUSE THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT THEIR SAFETY AND PRIVACY ?

Whoa.....what a reaction. Well my take on it is the video could've been much better with a little more preparation. They could've said exactly the same things, but if the video looked better, there would've been a better reaction.

The were some things that were said that they should not have said. Like "competitor" to Coinbase for example. That's like a brand new coin saying being a competitor against Bitcoin.

Other currencies are careful about what they say. Instead of "competitor" they use "complement" when comparing themselves to Bitcoin.

Instead of "competitor" they should've used the word "alternative". Sounds better to the ears.

And that's my 2 cents for today.

I do see, in their favor, that the vast majority of the community is still supporting them and the coin has recovered from the dump to yesterdays levels. Also rumors are that the dump during the video was a coordinated dump by some dump group to get people to panic sell so they could buy back at lower prices. It was planned by the said group for a week, or so I've read.

So...PAC could still continue to go up. We'll just have to see.

Right now the coin has bad code, bad wallets, secret devs, and a marketing manager that can't even do a live-stream (lets all forget about his FB pump and dump pics). So far the only people promoting this coin are youtubers and twitterfolk who have advocated for the pump and the dump (read some of the comments by the early investors).  The big twitter promoter's last live-stream said the value was rising but completely ignored the fact that this was in relation to the rise in value of BTC. I don't know about that. The USD, Doge, and Ethereum markets has completely recovered to levels 24 hours ago....and still rising. They've recovered to just under 1 sat levels again. The charts clearly show that it's not rising merely just in relation to BTC markets.

There still appears to strong support for this coin by it's community, which is why it recovered practically in an instant from earlier today.

It's possible that it may be back to the high levels we've seen today by tomorrow. Who knows? We'll just have to see.
