they both scale

They  both sacrifice a little bit of decentralization  for  scalability

Which  one  to choose  and  why?

Would prefer IOTA here, IOTA is in the market longer compare to EOS, not saying that EOS is a bad project
But IMO, IOTA has been undergo a huge attention towards to public and i believe IOTA would at least go up more when we goes to the bullish season

In terms of technology, it might be debatable if IOTA or EOS is better because IOTA uses Tangle and EOS uses Blockchain

I don't trust either one.

EOS doesn't have a working project, is run by an entrepreneur with a history of leaving projects half-finished (Dan Larimer), and is using its control over the Steemit platform to unethically market themselves.

IOTA lie about partnerships on a regular basis, and their tech simply makes no sense. It is like, "Yknow that hashpower that makes Bitcoin stable? Let's get rid of that. What could go wrong?"

IOTA is not secure. The ledger can be attacked. This will happen, and it will be ugly.

Even if you're just a trader looking for speculative profits, I'd steer clear of these. You might come out ahead by the greater fool principle, but it's very risky.

EOS is really high now, I doubt that it is the best time to buy.

I vote for IOTA, a very promising and speculative coin, you can make good money on it if you go in time. x5 until the end of the year is easy.

I think this will be a good year for IOTA. It's down quite a bit from it's ATH, so there's room to grow. Compare the 2 market caps and IOTA has about half. So it could at least double. Also, EOS is up a lot right now and could very well dip down for a correction. I just think IOTA has more room to grow than EOS at this moment in time.

IOTA is completely decentralized, why are you saying about it sacrificing it? EOS is kind of a fine platform, but many people feel very unsure about it and point out that it doesn't have any real product. IOTA, on the other hand, has interesting tech as well as use cases. Internet of Things is becoming more and more important and real, so things like IOTA might come very handy with it. This is of course if the team solves some current security problems of the coin. If it is to become a basic platform for device communication, no 'zero balance' or 'hacks' are allowed.

I also give my preference to the IOTA coin, there is a very strong technical side to this project, and most importantly, that there is investor confidence.

I don't even know what EOS has really but IOTA is literally one of the worst cryptocurrencies to ever touch the world. It is nothing short of a catastphrohe on every level. Not only did you have to create your own wallet and private key, but they rolled their own crypto. Rule #1 of crypto is to not do that, and they couldn't even manage that. Complete garbage, go for EOS if you must pick between the two.

You're also spreading false information. The first link doesn't even work? The article of the second link claims things that are not possible. Maybe you should read the follow-up, and especially the comment section.

Well IOTA has a working product, so i vote for IOTA. Personally i dont like them both.
IOTA may be good in the future, and in EOS i do not trust. Dont like the founders

Why choose one only? If you can choose them both right? Both of them are really good and have a big potential in the future and that's much more profitable that choosing only one of them. I am telling you they will be huge really huge in the future so better hold now.

I can't say this one is better than the other, both are using different technology and they need to prove both can work first, alot of attack on both projects because people ave found some of their claims to be untrue. But all being said I will go for IOTA just because EOS main developer have history of not seen through projects he started before jumping on other one

I don't know too much information about these cryptocurrencies but IMO I think EOS is better than IOTA. As you can see EOS rank increased from no.9 to no.6 on coinmarketcap after only 1 week. But IOTA still stable at rank 10 on coinmarketcap Smiley). It's the main reason why I think EOS is better if I have to invest in one out of these cryptocurrencies of course I'll choose EOS.

On  their  website  IOTA  claims  to have important  partnerships  with Microsoft, Bosh...   but  why  there are  always  people   who say that  is not  true?

They do have partnerships with Bosch, Fujitsu, VW, etc. A Microsoft employee was the one who wrote that it was a partnership in the media he gave IOTA--IOTA didn't just pull it out of their asses. Pretty sad that this has overshadowed the actual partnerships, but it proves how much speculators in cryptoland don't bother to research and repeat whatever is handed them.

Also, they don't "sacrifice decentralization for scalability," DAGs are simply vulnerable to attacks when their networks are small and the coordinator acts as a security measure in the early going--I already pointed this out in your other thread, but apparently you don't read your own thread or just choose to repeat falsehoods.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3280824.msg34218823#msg34218823

Um, yes, IOTA is centralized. Let me put it this way. If a coin is launched with an ICO, then you bet it is centralized, despite what the developers will want you to think. Of course, I think there are some that have in their roadmaps a way to eventually decentralize, but then that's a roundabout way to do things to me. But I suppose it was unavoidable. Even Satoshi had to decide and even mine on his own at one point. And then he left. And natural order happened. So,,, your point does not have a point maybe?

It wasn't a choice against decentralization or a roundabout way to get there, it was a solution to an inherent problem in DAGs. Until there is enough tx, the network is especially vulnerable to attacks, so the coordinator serves as a protection. The devs have stated over and over that it will be opensourced, and when they feel the network is large enough, they will remove it.

Well it's hard to choose between EOS and iota, they are both good coins, if i had to pick One between them i would invest in EOS, it has  more possibilities to grow in the future

It's really hard to decide cause both of these coins are really good and has high rank on coinmarketcap but I think everyone will have their own opinion and choice. Some people will choose depend on rank but some others will choose depend on price Smiley). For low captial trader and investor I think IOTA is a better choice for them cause IOTA price is 8 times lower than EOS but with other traders maybe they'll choose EOS although EOS price is much higher than IOTA cause EOS has higher rank than IOTA Cheesy
