What do you think is future of ICOs? Where do you see this in next 5 years?

Good projects will go to exchanges and will develop, If crypto market will be developing the same will be also with ICOs, we need new projects to develop the area.

I am waiting for government regulation. It is bad for cryptocurrency community, but ICO industry is full of scams. We need something that will help to ban frauds and secure investors. Too much money is going to scammers hands. In future it will be more difficult to launch ICO.

I think that the ICO will continuously develop and improve with each passing year. It seems to me that in a few years ICO will be enshrined in law and we will be able to fight scammers who simply collect money and disappear under the guise of ICOs!

You must be joking. It is impossible to predict so far as the market is not regulated by legislation. If regulation at the legislative level is introduced this year, then it will be possible to understand how the vector of ICO will change and what prospects await it.

Uniquely, ICO will somehow be regulated to avoid fraud.

ICOs aren't going to be as easy to garner attention as they used to be.

I think that we're shifting from unregulated ICOs to regulated ICOs. And the KYC laws surrounding these ICOs are going to pretty strict. In the next 5 years, it should be expected that a lot of big companies come up with their own initial coin offerings as well, just like Telegram is planning on doing.

Overall, expect more regulations in the ICO sphere. It's going to be harder and harder for devs to pitch their ideas across, when they have so many competitors.

Yes i agree with you will be more regulations on ico"s.It can have positive effect on transparency mostly if
that market will be not overregulated

After 5 years, when considering current ICOs, we will Identified what are the truly successful project and how far they achieve their targets. Also In the future many ICOs will start to relate with different purposes. Hence more governments will make regulations to control ICOs. ICOs which scam will increase in future. Hence more ICO ranking methods and Associations will establish to control for those scams. If the cryptocurrency able to accept more countries then new opportunities will create. New opportunities will lead to jobs. People will start to do jobs relate to ICO projects. Personally I believe after 5 years people will tend to cryptocurrency that lead to start more ICOs.  Also Industries will use ICOs for find more Investors to success their Project. With more regulations ICOs will start that Future journey.

Over the recent days, or should be like this entire quarter is pretty low on ICOs, however over the past few months we have also seen  lot of scams raising money from ico too.
This correction was required and now only the genuine icos are surviving.
This is good and make me belive more into genuine icos and they are at the moment good way to raise funds for a new project.

The problem of scam that icos are facing is the reason that it looks as if they are not important but to me, they are very important. They are very simple way to show coins or tokens to investors. People have the opportunity to check it out, roadmap, future and use.  

Icos should still be around but the scam going on should be checked.

The future of ICO is positive that means currently many regulations are occur in the ICO advertisement. But after two years automatically many scam projects are failed in the market so regulations are stopped in future and many good ICOs are comes in the market. The investors are looking to invest in tokens. So most of the ICOs are successfully run in the market.

ICOs will evolve into STOs (Security Token Offers) which are mostly the same thing, but regulated. Unfortunately ICOs are raising funds from the public without any rule, some of them are scams and other ones do change rules after they announced things, even after people have invested in them. I do not like regulation, however I don't like to be in the "law of the jungle" either. There has to be some order and unfortunately this means some kind of regulation. Also, I don't think that they will be as attractive as today. They will change, evolve, and adapt.

I can understand your concern perfectly because unfortunately they are a lot of ICOs going on which are really a scam. but fortunately they are also ICO rating sites where one can eliminate the real scams from the more serious ICOs. The second step is then to trust the project and the team. Maybe the security token offers are a better option for the future because there will be more ICOs in the future and one can feel really lost in all that.

It seems to me that in the next 5 years a serious regulatory policy will be implemented and clear rules for working in this direction will be worked out. As you know it was during the troubled times of anarchy that huge fortunes were made and thousands of people were devastated. Therefore, by translating all the legal and financial issues related to the ICO in the legal channel, we will eventually get more interesting and most importantly viable projects.

There is every reason to predict the stabilization of the segment. First, the community has acquired sufficient experience, and now it is not enough simply to describe the project smartly with clever words to initiate the sale of the tokens. Potential investors already now want to see a clear plan for the development of the collected funds and the stages of the project implementation. Secondly, there is a need and even there are tools for the legal regulation of relations in the crypto-currency market. All this means that going to the ICO will become more difficult, and only professional teams will do it. And from this it follows that the total number of ICO start-ups will decrease, but the percentage of reliable and profitable projects will grow. I believe that in the end ICO will reach a new, more professional level. Both from the point of view of the development of the crypto industry, and from the position of investment.
