This is all absolute pie in the sky.  Bitcoin can't be used as a currency in very many places.  first it has to be converted into another currency.  So what's the point of it except as a profit making adventure for the lucky.

Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency as of this year. Can you just imagine how great this can be? Most of the people here would agree that Crypto currency on a global scale is still on it's infancy stage but look how far it gone? Great isn't it?

There are numerous discussions about Bitcoin going on several countries. The biggest of it all is about the recent debate of the Bitcoin ETF approval. Once Bitcoin gets integrated into the stock market and investors get their fears allayed through the announcement of the legitimacy of Bitcoin, the patronage of Bitcoin will increase accordingly. Bitcoin is likely to be the number one currency in the world some few years to come.

Bitcoin is already a number one currency but only in the  online world . meanwhile ,  bitcoin cannot be possibly become the number one coin locally because bitcoin is not perfect . bitcoin do still have a lot of disadvantage that needs improvement in order to compete onto some serious competitors like fiats ( e.g usd ) .

Overall , i think rankings are not really that important . whats really important is their characteristics or purpose if what they can do in order to improve the peoples lives .

You might want to re-phrase your topic. i disagree that Bitcoin is the World's 6th largest currency. Because, Bitcoin is not yet the world's 6th Largest currency but however it is world's 6th largest Currency by circulation. As much as we are all impressed by Bitcoin achievement, i must say that we accord it the right position in the world. You might wanna check out this link (https://fxssi.com/top-10-of-the-strongest-world-currencies-in-current-year) to the top 10 most expensive currency in 2018.. Bitcoin was not listed. You might also wanna check out the top 8 most tradable currency in the world (https://www.investopedia.com/trading/most-tradable-currencies/) and you find out that Bitcoin is no where to be found.

Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency. These figures are noteworthy, but if the value of a single Bitcoin goes up to $15,000, India’s currency Rupee will pass. Ethereum ranked 17th and Bitcoin Cash ranked 20th. Ripple is located just below 20.
How many years Bitcoin will need to become No.1 ?

For some reasons, I think bitcoin will not be able to get into top 3 for those in the top three are the mostly widely used and legalized currencies. But bitcoin is impressive so can say it can climb up little by little.

This is really great. Indeed, bitcoin continues to get better and more potential. Certainly bitcoin will be better known and used by many people so that bitcoin can become number 1 currency. Only time will bring bitcoin to be more potential and even better. I strongly believe in bitcoin, and will increase its value in the future.

Bitcoin is a powerful currency,  That is such a big news for the users of bitcoin .  For all other currencies that are fiat for a country , so many transactions takes place everyday . Despite of this fact bitcoin has managed to come up to 6th place . This surely tells that bitcoin is also making millions of transactions everyday or on daily basis

I think this is the very good news and the biggest achievement for the bitcoin also , as we all can see that bitcoin is very popular, successful and sustainable crypto currency and there are millions of people who are very well known to bitcoin and are investing a huge money on bitcoin so this is the biggest achievement for bitcoin and the next goal for the bitcoin should be the legalisation of bitcoin in all over the world.

I dont think that this is an appropriate definition , like it or not, i think that btc is much more an asset than currency.
We dont use btc for purchases as we would like to at least not yet, but nevertheless this is an interesting chart to observe.

The Russian ruble and British pound are used for many millions of transactions every day, far more than the amount of transactions that Bitcoin is used for.

They also have economies that are entirely reliant on them, while Bitcoin is only used (as a currency) by a very small fraction of the population, hence why most merchants don't accept it.

Bitcoin isn't comparable to these major world currencies.

Yeah but this is looking at total in circulation, not total being transacted every day. Those are two different stories altogether.

Do these numbers account for the amount in virtual circulation? Because fiat currencies are about 10x larger if so. The fractional reserve system allows banks to create money out of thin air. Every $10 put in they can lend $9 out to another client and make more money off of that. So in comparison, bitcoin's market cap might be much smaller.

Right. Bitcoin is the sixth largest currency in the world. Bitcoin is second only to US, Chinese, Japanese, Indian and EURO currencies. Talking about the world of electronic money, bitcoin is the most valuable currency.

Bitcoin is a digital currency with a set of peer-to-peer protocols made possible by the Blockchain.
Bitcoin is has many capabilities that distinguishes. One of the most prominent features is the freedom associated with it.
For these reasons many are enthused about btc and this causes a large number of adaptation.

It seems to me that Bitcoin is the 8th largest currency right now. The Russian Ruble and the Pound Sterling has overtaken it during the past few months. But there are some encouraging signs as well. For example, the market dominance of BTC has now risen to 54%.

-snip-. For example, the market dominance of BTC has now risen to 54%.
You mean in comparison to other cryptocurrencies? If so, it really doesn't matter, as we want to be comparing it with government issued fiat currencies in this thread.

Can you please elaborate what you had in mind?
