for me its very hard to decide which one is the best to be chosen, Bitcoin is more profitable than ethereum in a long term run, while ethereum is profitable in one year term. meaning if i want to earn a good profits in the future, i have to decide to choose bitcoin, although eth and bitcoin can really gives you a good profits.

It is better to keep Ethereum, it has more prospects for growth. Since it develops, unlike drifting bitcoin, which does not even want to move in terms of development.

I will prefer BTC,because I am sure btc will have much higher price than now and in few years can be in the moon,bts is asset wich we have to collect as much as we can,ethereum can be replaced by most strongly technology in future, for example eos

Bitcoin to Ethereum does not make any differences if we convert it in USD. But it will be a big difference if we go into the traditions of trading, we will notice some changes, one that probably becomes a percentage of what we got if we trade in the different altcoins of such exchanges. Let's look for alternative solution if we are considering a long term to earn a good profits.

Almost worth the same value now, but which one is better for holding untill DEC 2018?
People likens bitcoin is DOS and ethereum is Windows. Maybe for a long term investment ethereum will be more promising. I'm not sure the price of ethereum will be equivalent to bitcoin, but for percentage I think it would be much more profitable. |

You should diversify your portfolio because bitcoin's value can fluctuate,causing most of the altcoins bleed which is why we should be getting more bitcoin in our portfolio so if the market starts to fail we wont be affected too much as we have more bitcoin in our portfolio,i am doing 70% bitcoin and 30% altcoins which is why i am not affected by these bloody markets.

eth movement is very difficult to predict but this alt coin is quite fantastic almost all crypto projects using eth platform. if you have the courage to bet all your money take and hold eth, if not btc good for safe lane.

If you have good chunk of money to invest in crypto, you shouldn't stick with just one or two coin. Diversify it. Assuming that you have more money saved up for other crypto, I would go with btc without a doubt. |

Why should be BTC or ETH? Just make it BTC and ETH, split it. I would do it 60% in BTC, 40% in ETH. And 50% from all ETH invest somewhere else. Otherwise.. I would be happy to have same choice  |

Try to get a half of your money to invest in bitcoin and the other half on the eth. We could not possibly predict which crypto will going to raise its price higher between these two crypto but for sure these two could doubled your money in this coming december where usually peak price could be determine. So for now try not to focus on one crypto and it is much better to get involved with these two crypto. Well anyway the decision is yours so you are the only one to decide on what to do with your money. And you have a bunch of money there. Hopefully i could have that kind of money also in the near future and can live comfortably.

For speculative purposes, ETH is better at the moment. It had a stronger fall recently and it is still a little bit undervalued when compared to Bitcoin. While you could, realistically have BItcoin x3 by the end of the year, you could actually have around x5 on ETH.
"Could" is the important word here, don't forget.

I believe, that ETH is better, as regular exchange rate for eth-btc was 0.1, now it is approx 0.063. And it is obvious, that ETH should grow over BTC, what will bring you more profit then just holding BTC. |

Both of that altcoins are good but I prefer to hold Bitcoin until the end of this year, As I seen from the number of bitcoin mined decreasing, it will make the supply of bitcoin is limited and then would have an effect on bitcoin selling value and I hope by the end of this year will reach the level last year's high even more than last year high. |

If I had to choose one, I would go for ETH, but guess I the best thing to do is to split your money and buy both. No one knows what will happen in the future

in my opinion, with increasing demand make bitcoin prices back up and good effect on altcoin lain.ETH for example, the price is now almost the same as bitcoin, but btc will always above everything and will continue to survive until the end of December 2018. and I'm sure btc more well. is nothing wrong for long-term investment in eth, because eth including altcoin is much in demand.

In the percentage of profitability to date, the Ether is winning. However, there are many rumors that other currencies can take the place of Ether. Thus, the capitalization of the second coin will not rise & not give the expected profit. Bitcoin, in this case, wins stability. Personally, I try to keep an approximately equal amount of Ether and bitcoin.

You need to look at different situations. Now that altcoins grow, better of course 150 ETH but how will be the end of the year is difficult to say. Therefore, my choice is now and 150 ETH and as soon as the fall, immediately exit to Bitcoin |

Of course i would diversify my portfolio it would be 70% bitcoin,30% altcoins because you will never know when will is going to skyrocket,or when will ethereum is going to get recover from the blood market that it has from the past few months,.we shouldnt be doing all ins because it is risky if the market has failed you should have cutloss.

I would to etherem,as it is very undervalued today and it can fluctuate easily more than bitcoin's potential movements. if ethereum backed up to its current ATH it would be already x300% but if bitcoin is going to hit its curren all time high it will only be x250% which is why i will choose ethereum as it has better price movements when we are talking about the history.
