I would rather go for btc not eth. I prefer BTC more than ETH. I think BTC is more suitable and also more reliable to me rather than ETH. If you see the past history of BTC then BTC is the most oldest crypto currency throughout the world. Day by day it's gaining trust and also it's creating a new hope of earning. In case of investment I think BTC is more profitable. BTC value is less now but the price will go high undoubtedly.

That will depends on you which direction you are going. If you are looking for more profit getting 150 eth will be a better choice as you are holding bigger amount. If you are looking at a long term investment stick to btc i think it will be safer. The most safe way is invest in both and use a partial of the amount to buy some altcoins to diversify your portfolio and hedgeing

But Bitcoin costs more so you have to pay a bigger price to jump into the game and buying Ethereum you saves some funds or can invest them into another coin

I prefer to have a btc than ethereum because the pump and dump of the coin is depending on the movement of the bitcoin, so if the bitcoin would fall down meaning all the alts would fall down also and besides the value of the bitcoin is unpredictable.

I have chosen ETH because I consider that ETH has a better % potential comparing with BTC and I think that ETH will decrease a spread with BTC and right now is is much hype around ETH many investors and analysts recommend ETH so newest investors are looking at ETH mainly it is good because it gives more fuel.

Don't put all your money in one coin. Your funds should be split 50/50. Half invest in bitcoin, half in Ethereum. In 2018, both bitcoin and Ethereum expect a good growth

And why do not you want to buy some of that and part of the other? I would in your place buy 10-15 different coins and keep them. But this is only my opinion. Good luck!
