I would go for 50/50, the two coins need to coincide very they develop or fall together, you will benefit if the cryptomarket increment its market top by and large, its valid for situation like btc up eth fall, yet its truly doesnt matter when you are hodling both, on the past pump its bitcoin that lead the developing marketcap, in which ethereum was pumped to $1200 a while later in under multi month.

For me holding both of them are more profitable instead of holding one of them so you should go for 50% of ETH and 50% of BTC. In December 2018 total market cap is the one for sure who will be pump and all of the coins for sure will pump also. Goodluck to all of us.

Make it 50% - 50% this will give you the ability to sell the one that's significantly ahead of the other one. I always check what my ETH would be worth if I had bought BTC and vice versa. But most of the time there is no significant difference. Maybe ETH is a little bit ahead overall but since you want to sell it in 6 month there is no guarantee what will strive in December.

Both are good investments but if you are planning to hold until December then I think bitcoin is great option for you than ETH since bitcoin price will most like increase by then.
