I'll probably split it into 50/50. Or go to 60/40 with bias on eth since it has outpaced btc since it's inception.

Surely ETH is much better to hold. If even it returns to 1200 or 1600USD so you will have 3-4X's. But if you invest your ETH to good promissing ICO project so you will get more profit.In my opinion for long term it's better to invest to good promissing ICO project. I've checked Cryptics.tech really future tool for all traders and investors. And invested , Take a look at the project cuz ICO starts in a month 27.08.2018 So you have enough time to check the project

i choose 9.5 BTC, more valuable and i think in the end of year btc is more than 20.000 $ a lot of expert predict about this price

In my point of views, I would say that ETH since you can you use it for ICO round and make it up multiple times in uptrend market. Then the profit will increase as follow. Also BTC is also good when you want to cash out in the end.

ETH and BTC should exist in your porfolio. Cheesy

To me, I will like to hold the two. Split my holdings into two equal part, stay in Btc half, stay in ETH half as well. It is better that way. At this point, ETH has more tendency to double in price and even Btc but staying in the two is just lit and it will help you ride the two as well.

you must answer some question before buying this coins:
1- are you newbie or no?
2- are you holder or you are trader?
3- do you have strategy or no?

if you are newbie, i suggest you buy only BTC and also if you are holder buy BTC, if you are professional trader, you know that you must invest on BTC about 50-70% of your money. and trade with other 30-50%. also if you are holder for long term for example for the end of 2019 suggest you to buy ETH.

I think this answer is the best one out of many and I have the same opinion to be honest. You can invest partly in BTC and partly in ETH or other coins.

If you are a long holder, i say that the best is to choose BTC for long time. Bitcoin is the fast in my opinion and not so high congestion as on ETH sometimes.

If you see bitcoin dropping others will be as well. So I think bitcoin should be the best place for it. The only thing that we should know next is that if it is for a long term investment or not. Because the volatility of bitcoin can be a disadvantage for day traders.

80% of the funds invested in bitcoin, the remaining investment in ether . bitcoin is always the most stable coin. it deserves your long-term hold . I believe Bitcoin is still alive , five years later. but I am not sure about ether

As for me, I would better choose both Ethereum and Bitcoin.  I will also add here several promising altcoins: here, I will bet on NEO and NEM, Carano and EOS, Qtum and TRON. Just check these cool alts.
