I would choose BTC for long-term investments. BTC is a coin number one, it will be always in my opinion. ETH has very large number of competitors who are capable to replace it! BTC - it isn't replaceable. BTC is a standard in the world of crypto!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

At the current time I would advice you to pick ETH, and after it will recover back minimum to 600-700$ per ETH exchange it to BTC or whatever you like, this is good strategy

It is hard to predict, what will happen until the end of the year. If your goal is to minimalise risk, than buy the Bitcoin, so if the bulls not come, your loss will be less probably

150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC?
Almost worth the same value now,  but which one is better for holding untill DEC 2018?
Until the end of the year, it's better to hold 9.5BTC.  Very much I doubt that this year the price for ETH will grow very quickly.

If you are really looking at investing that amount of money then I would suggest a sensible split between the two coins either 50/50 or 60/40 that way you are spreading the risk between both of them and not missing out if one greatly outperforms the other. Any rise is dependent on the Bitcoin recovery and that has been stubborn in starting so far this year.

Both projects actually have their similar advantages. Therefore, you need to distribute your investments in these areas, you do not need to limit yourself to only one coin.

If we talk directly about the plans before the end of December, I would focus on hold eth. Because now you can see the best dynamics for growth and development prospects.

I would pick bitcoin. You see bitcoin has a great chance of hitting $35k by Dec. The current bearish market will pass. Just keep hodling your bitcoins.

I'd buy bitcoin if I were you. Ethereum is in a very difficult position in the cryptocurrency market. Therefore, you should not invest in Ethereum, especially such a large amount.

At the moment I think the most logical move is to invest in btc. Because every investment outside btc made during this period is unfortunately depreciating. It's getting harder to get out after you've hurt.

If you are a crypto investor then you should have in your portfolio Bitcoin. And you should have invested in Bitcoin more than 50% funds what you have allocated for cryptocurrencies.

Now ETH has a very low price. You can now buy much more than BTC. The price of ETH will soon return to its former form.

Unambiguously I will advise you to buy exactly BTC, because according to my observations this coin shows much less volatility than ETH, which means that with course jumps, bitcoin loses much less in price, but the cost of the eth depends solely on the growth of bitcoin. In general, bitcoin is dad.

If you invest in BTC, you will get more profit.  This year, the price for BTC is growing much faster than on ETH.

That's a good question.  Now the price for BTC is growing faster and almost does not fall.  Therefore it seems to me 9.5 BTC is more profitable.

If you have that much,  why not share it into three. Let 50% be on bitcoin, you hold 25% on ethereum and the remaining  25% on other altcoins.
Make sure you do your research well on the altcoins you want to invest your 25% btc on.

I would have better invested in both coins because this is the safest option.  And the price for ETH is below $ 300.

I prefer 9.5 Bitcoin, because I think Bitcoin prices are faster to increase than Ethereum prices, so if we have Bitcoin then we get more profit than we have Ethereum.

For me I choose the 9.5 BTC since it has much more dominance in terms of market cap and it's harder to manipulate since the total supply of bitcoin is just limited it has higher chance you'll be getting higher returns. Bitcoin always return with it's glory even if it has lows.
