Can somebody explain how to decide buying an altcoin?

Let me write what I know;

• Check the coinmarketcap.com and choose ones with high volume
• Check the projects
• Check the chart, if it is pumped, don't buy, wait
• Check the chart, if it is dumping, wait low volatility

Please correct and/or add other ideas to help noob traders like me

I will try to give merits to good posts as much as I can.

To know when to buy is when there is a big dip thats the good time to buy too specialy when you see that there a big bad news and fud about bitcoin you can buy and sell if the price is alread recover to its original price. There are some people that if they saw that the color is red they just on  the spot buy that not a good habbit.

Yes this could work or worse it will go zero. 
But if it is for a cheap price then why not. Maybe it is worth the risk. For now, I dont see much with reds. Only those who havent recovered after the ICO are the ones and it is not sure if they could go back. Their project needs a lot of marketing before it happens again.
Just go with the history of old coins and maybe you could somehow profit like what he said. Do not go for the new ones.

You should buy at the low market in order to use your less amount or in other words to invest little and get more coins. The time you want to buy and sell can be predicted by monitoring the market and the trends Bitcoin is going with and the graph trends as well. These all will guide you when to buy and when to sell out but remember that you should buy at low market and sell at high market.

I'm not sure as you say. The red market, but prices continue to fall deep. I think there must be a right time for us to buy bottom. So after that price increase we get high profits. That's the secret of successful entrepreneurs. The current Crypto market is always red. But there must be a reasonable price to buy and take profit.
