I see that people support that altcoin suits better for day trading, and not for holding. I just don't get why.

altcoin which has great potential in some exchanges will be easier to continue to be used as a good daily term holding. we can continue to see this as a good choice because the nature of the altcoin if held in the long run will experience a dump and for the pump must require a long period of time. so I think it's a natural thing if the altcoin is suitable for daily trading,

There are some who still hold altcoin and they hope their coin will grow and explode but it is quite dangerous because Altcoin often does not retain his nature after a period of activity. High volatility makes Altcoin the centerpiece of day trading, so many investors are still making good money. And I see people like them really smart.

if in my opinion altcoin is good for trading rather than hold, that is because altcoin prices often go up and down, so if we use altcoin as hold then the profit earned is not as big like if we use it for trading, because if we use altcoin for trading then when the altcoin price rises a little we can sell it and when the price drops we can buy more because we already get profit from selling it when the price goes up, whereas if we use altcoin to hold then when the price increases we don't sell it because the increase is only a little and when the price drops we lose the opportunity to buy more because we have not yet get profit to buy more.

I think altcoin is better used for daily trading than to be detained. Crypto currency is very volatile so when it is detained, it is not necessarily in the future to have a better price. But if the altcoin is used for daily trading then every day we can take advantage regularly even though it is not directly a big advantage. However, I suggest trading coins that are indeed potential because if we trade coins that are less potential then the risk of our loss will be greater.

There is kindda, a formed image that bitcoin is much suitable for the long run or long term trading in a sense that, altcoin's main purpose in exchanges are for short day trading or what we call, scalping. I rather consider it a standard trading pattern because I don't see any negative implication it can incur to the market.

Holding your alts is a good option only on an increasing market, but on a declining market it is not an option just holding and looking your portfolio decreasing day by day. Altcoins are very volatile and offers many trading opportunities.
