Altcoin is for day trading

I see that people support that altcoin suits better for day trading, and not for holding. I just don't get why.

Because many people in 2017 bought a lot of altcoins for holding. And we all know that this for many ended only with losses. Therefore, it is sometimes better to do daily trade or short investment than to invest in coins for the long term.
The ability to sell your coins in time is the main quality of the investor.

but in fact, there are so many altcoins that have a fairly slow movement but they have good potential for future growth with the technology projects they develop will be very useful later in the future, all depends on the altcoin we choose. basically holding or carrying out daily trading will be able to both provide benefits and all have their own positive and negative sides.

Yes I also noticed that. In fact majority of altcoins are. Very few are suitable for holding long term. I guess the fact that they are alternative coin, people are still rely in primary coins for long term investment because this coins are already been proven in the market. If the altcoins survived the market for a long time, then that's the time people will consider it for long term. that's not necessarily, we can't judge someone like that. we see they also have the ability to be able to benefit. all depend on them in utilizing the market situation in investing and trading.

You have mixed the concepts of investment and trade.
Investments incur insignificant losses from the commission, as the investor have bought and holds without performing any trading operations.
The trader trades a lot, so the commission over time has a great influence on the trading account of the trader. The highest commission is paid by the intraday trader. With equal amounts for each trades.

I think why many supports altcoins for day trading is because they don't really want to hold those shitty coins so they will just trade it to exchange a better coin, and also another idea is because they want to trade it is just because the trading is more interesting and more income may came so many are trying to explore the world of trading in this cryptocurrency world. They are starting to trade because they know that this may help them to increase their profit so they are trading. Am I also trading my different coins in order to gain some profit for now so that the losses I've get from the past months and years will be lessen, the trading platform that i am using is darb finance in which is one of the great crypto exchange for now because you can easily deposit and withdraw your cash in this platform so that why I've tell that this is a good trading platform.

I don't think so. Altcoins could be long-time investment as well. The problem is, that they're more unpredictable as Bitcoin - but it's not a problem if you're treating cryptocurrencies only as your additional hobby, not main job. We also shouldn't forget about people who are supporting altcoin because of the idea which stands behind them. Crypto are the world changing technology and for many this is the reason why they're investing. I consider myself as such a person, I believe that coins which I'm supporting have chance to change something (I'm currently sticking with FuturoCoin and Dash, which both are trying to make online payments much easier, and I believe this is a noble goal)

Trading of Altcoins usually takes place in the short term because they depend on the price of Bitcoin. When Bitcoin falls, they also fall in price but some potential Altcoins can be kept long-term such as ETH, XRP.

If you try to hodling your altcoins that means that you have invested some good ammount of money, otherwise you can't make good profit, it would be impossible. I believe that the daily trading is most suitable things with the altcoins today. It is less risky and if you know how to trade you can make some profit everyday. Ofcourse you have to choose your altcoins in the TOP100 list.

I prefer to hold for the long term because now I don't have enough online time, of course we have to hold top coins so that we can be profitable if we make long-term investments.

altcoin is not a mayor coin, that mean Altcoin just coin to trade to mayor coin like ETH, LTC and other.
