Winner of this year, ETH or BTC?

I think the winner will not be all as it was and will be, bitcoin will be ahead, the price may be even lower than now but do not panic

 We don't really need to compare and identify who is the winner here in the crypto world.  What we need is to identify how can we manage to make bitcoin profitable and greater as it is.  We don't need to build a competition here, we should spread positivity to be better for bitcoin and all other coins.

I think so too.  Over the past couple of months, the price of ETH has fallen almost 2-fold, but the price of BTC has almost not fallen.

BTC will still be the winner this year, even though the price is decreasing. but from the aspect of popularity it is still the best at this time. while the ETH is currently also experiencing a decline in prices below $ 300. it shows that BTC is still hard to catch, and I think it will take a very long time!

of course btc will always be a leader even though all altcoin standart is based on erc20
it will not change the leadership of the first digital currency btc

if we looked at the current market. i think it's obvious that bitcoin is the winner. even if we got one another quarter. i think it's still hard for ethereum to chasing bitcoin

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.

On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.

So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

Yes do you think that BTC has no use? Well i guess you are wrong because those ICO projects nowadays could not collect that much money for them to realize their project without using bitcoin as a form of payment in investing in an ICO project. You say that ETH has it platform for most of the crypto in the market? Well think again that ETH is an alternative coin for bitcoin. Definitely bitcoin is the dominant crypto in the market.

This year's winner in my opinion is still Bitcoin, because until whenever Bitcoin will be the winner.

Everyone will choose bitcoin as the winner this year but I haven't found the real winner this year. Both of them experienced a large decline.

As you see in the price bitcoin will always the leader because it have a huge price unlike eth and also to new people they acknowledge bitcoin rather than ethereum so bitcoin now a days is more popular rather than any altcoins that surround it so I vote for bitcoin for now but I couldn't say that no one can surpass bitcoin.

    In my opinion, I would say we shouldn't conclude on the winner yet because we still have lots of days remaining in the year but so far for me,I would say ethereum has been in USE in most of all altcoins tho they both experienced some downfalls.
    I'm not saying BTC is not also winning but to me, I would say Eth is fast growing and in more years to come would beat BTC.
