The statistics page isn't registering valid shares for merged mining either

Probably some database settings that have to be changed

Davinci will do it when he gets out of bed Wink

For mining at a pool you would use your bitcoin miner.

Until 00:00 UTC Oct 15th pool payout fee is now 0.5%.  If you have not withdrawn anything in a while congratulations do so now.
After 00:00 Oct 15th even if the server has not paid out yet TOO BAD payout fee is back to 3%.  (I am trying to speed that up.)

NMCBIT.com now allows you to change your username to prefix miners and display in stats.

I was gonna try you out for merged mining but all the 'instructions' links on your front page are broken so I went with another pool.
You may want to fix your home page.

I had it on your pool for a bit, liked the idea of pooled mining, but I just looked and consoles got a LOT of RPC errors and idle warnings guess it couldn't handle my measely 1.3gh pointed that way.

Davinci,

We seem to have regular "pool communication failures" They last up to a couple of  minutes

You are probably already looking into it, but just so you know....

I have to admit I was not ready as I thought I was for Merged Mining but PPS should compensate everyone for their shares.  It pays out once we find a block so you will have to wait for now.

Cleaned up the problems with mining at the back end you should see less RPC errors and slowdowns getting work.
Let me know if you seen an improvement.

In the end it does not matter if a big pool starts merged mining as well.... It is a problem if they do it without telling their miners however

Can't believe any of the bigger pools would be foolish enough to do so, seeing as they would lose their miners for sure

On the other hand, maybe not many miners care, since they didn't jump to the merged mining pools in droves as far as I can tell
