As a new bounty hunter how will I know if the ICO I joined for bounty campaign is not scam aside from studying their whitepaper. For those who are professional in bounty have you experience being scam from the bounty campaign you joined? How to avoid SCAM Bounty so that our effort and time will not be wasted.
Sometimes it is hard to figure out a scam bounty I did participate in altowl campaigns Terms says payment of bounty a month after ico They had WP, legible website, and ico went well over the course Then suddenly telegram and other devs and admins went awol till date So check on the personality and previous projects of each bounty manager Before embarking; it helps

Do some research, never trust ICO rating sites because most of them are getting paid by these scammers, dont waste your time, dig up some information check the team behind the project,.review what is needed to be reviewed do not rely your decision to other people. If you saw some redflags you know what to do,dont hesistate to pass.

Hi Ma'am A! It's hard to find out when a bounty is good or not, For me I do research about their team if it is legit, I read their whitepaper, examine their website and check if the communications are complete in case of a problem I can contact them. There is no 100% guaranteed that the project will lead to success so I suggest to get many bounties as you can.

In order to be safe from scam bounties, you need to know first its bounty manager. There are some list of trustworthy bounty managers. These bounty managers will not let themselves be involve in scams. If you follow these bounty managers, you can assure that you'll be safe from scams and your work would not be wasted which we do not want to happen after spending lot of time and effort in doing bounty campaigns.

Check the github repository,so that you wont get fooled because scammers wont have their own codes, probably just copied from somewhere else, never let anyone fooled you, join to those quality campaigns because 1 good campaign is enough compare to 3/4 scam bounties that you might have because you didnt do your own research.

And what prevents you from studying the technical documentation, look at the quality of the site and get acquainted with the team. But even if everything looks very nice and professional, this will not give you a guarantee that the project will not exactly turn out to be SCAM.

White paper does not bring anything useful and interesting about the project. Very often this is the same as written on the site
WHitepaper is good but it is just a whitepaper. Scam ICO developers will leave the project after they collected funds and make new ICOs. They leave the project in the whitepaper with the long roadmap. People will forget about the ICO , their site will close after the contract ends.

Check the team behind it,never let any fake profiles fool you, becauase you shouldnt takign any chances because time and effort should be paid very well as long as you are doing your task every week you are going to make a lot of money and that is for sure,i dont want to participate with these campaigns because most of them are scams.

I think this is very difficult, sometimes there is a convincing project, but it leads a scam. Sometimes the project is not convincing, but it pays. I think personally, you should do all the bounty, whatever the project, while still there, except the signature campaign. Because the signature campaign can only follow 1 signature in 1 period.

You cant prevent those scam bounty campaigns as most of the ICOs are turning into scams, you should be doing a lot of research so that you wont be getting bad campaigns because these are only going to waste time and effort because you wont get paid with the efforts or the hardwork you have earned for.

Some ICO's succeed on their token sales but failed to sustain their project after the ico period and turns into a scam later on. This market is full of risk even if you study hard the market sometimes it will only depend on how good the project is.

Thru researching, you will need to do everything to search everything about the ICO,team or people behind it,the product, and its vision should be considered.Github account and social media accounts should be active, and should have some posts pictures of the team,do not rely your things with the bounties, instead get some job.

Check the details of everything they said to the community so far like when they share a new partnership with other companies that will support their project. If it seems to good to be true then check the legality of the news in your own ways. See if the project has a good community support like in telegram but it should be a legit support not like they are just added to the channel against their will. Another thing is that I pretty much depend on who is the campaign manager of that bounty campaign because most likely they are very careful on accepting projects because they have to maintain a good image on their name.
I agree because lots of good ICO have partners in their project if you see that is good you can participate so you cannot waste your time but like other said it depends to the project because ßome ICO even they don't have partners in their project they will successful. The best you can do is research deeply to the project so you know if is good or not.

Scam projects are unavoidable, that is why we should take our own research to lessen the risk because even those good looking projects might turn into scams that is why i am going to do everything i can to see those redflags. So i can prevent those campaigns from getting my time and efforts wasted, theres too much scam projects which is why we should be checking the background of the people behind the project,.

There's a possibility that the WP looks good because it's a plagiarized WP of other good project. Take for example coralex.io WP it's a plagiarized WP of Aion Network. Also they have "No KYC" crowdsale. Aside from checking whitepaper the best thing to do is to background check the team behind the project. coralex.io listed some of the famous people in crypto as an adviser but those people publicly disowned any connection with the scam project. In my bounty hunting experienced. Only one project turn out to be a scammed. The other projects just don't have enough sales or it become shitcoins because of the team's mismanagement/have not followed the roadmap.

Yes like you said before you can even know it on their whitepaper, the whitepaper is their main power how far they can go and can moon. But i have another way beside read the whitepaper, i can see how active they are on social media to promot their Tokens, as far as i know its 90% legit if they active on social media, replying an comment or sometimes they make a giveaway/airdrop on their social media.

I may not be a professional in bounty campaigns, but from my experience in the ones I have participated in I research them like I would research an ICO I would invest in (read the whitepaper, check the team, ICO rating, etc.), but after a couple of so so experiences I also research the bounty managers and the conditions for the campaign. Unfortunately even with the research, you may still be scammed or the reward may not be as high as you were hoping it to be because the ICO was not as successful. It can be frustrating because you invested a lot of your time in promoting the ICO but that is a risk when you are participating for a percentage of tokens sold during ICO. So it is important to check that as well.

Even bounty managers are becoming a victim of scam ICO so its inevitable. I admit that I was a victim too but I always keep trying to minimize the scam ICO before joining the bounty. My best advise for you is to do your deeper research with the project, team members, partnership, road map and what are the project's unique characteristics for them to hook an investors. Choosing a reputable bounty manager is also one of the keys like TOKENSUITE and AMAZIX group.
