It seems to me that if this is true, then the bitcoin price will go up. I think this is very positive news for the world of crypto currency.

I dont think that it will affect market somehow, especially now. Good news can intensify the existing bull trend, but it cant turn the downtrend.

I have heard about the idea to build the mining-city. It will help the Russians to earn and replenish the state budget, "If we build such a settlement near the border, for example, with China, it will immediately arouse great interest, there will be flows of business tourists. Such a place will become a business forum, will bring investment from abroad"

That was only a matter of time. A country like Russia can not afford not to jump on the crypto train. I've read a lot about Russia being against crypto first, but I was nevertheless convinced that Russia does not let crypto pass by. Apparently I was right with my guess.

This is great news regarding cryptos as Russia is considered a leading market for cryptocurrencies in general. Besides, when an influential  country like Russia confirm the use of cryptos as lawful, this rebuts the rumors that has been spread about cryptos that they are just a bubble.

Whaaat? I really did not see this coming. If they can do it it just shows that any country will. They actually had some huge issues related to crypto. It didn't actually make sense though considering that normal money can be used for the same things that people were abusing crypto for.

Japan has legalized cryptocurrency, is it Russia next?Russia has a lot of cryptocurrency development agencies, and there are a lot of cryptocurrency followers, I think Russia will sooner or later legalize cryptocurrencies.

I agree. The main beneficiary will be Waves Platform via Vostok integration services.

I think it's a little premature information that Russia is going to legalize the use of crypto currency. In fact, this is not so. Rather, it will take a long time to do this.

I don't think this is a particularly good news. I think Russia accepts the expectation of cryptocurrency. Russia's current economic weakness, I think it will not affect the cryptocurrency's overall market.

It's good news for Russians and the crypto ecosystem. Just wait and see how their economy will transform, trust will be establish, and stress of doing business will be eliminated.

I hope that this will have a very positive effect on the world of crypto currency. After all, the population of this country is pretty large (ofc it's not so huge as China for example, but anyway) and if this country adapts Bitcoin the popularity of the crypto will hopefully grow.

A very high-profile statement, which in fact has absolutely nothing to do with what they actually are going to do, it seems to me that you understand this, and if in Russia it really turns out to do something with crypto-currencies, it will be very good.

I doubt that there will be something good for people who are in the field of crypto-currency, and if there is legalization, then the miners and investors need to get a license and pay taxes.

Depending on how many big investors get into the crypto, but I'm grateful it's good news for cryptocurrency, I think it's the exact action of Russia because I know ICO from being far more likely than the country that has legalized cryptocurrency, hopefully it can increase the price of Bitcoin and Altcoin.

it's interesting to see that Russia plays huge part in bitcoin community. When you go and attend bitcoin conference in Europe, I can guarantee you that 50% of the attendees will be from Russia.

Russia is going to, the whole world is going to, the main thing is not to break the market of traditional business, but in 50 years there will be an Internet, plants for assembling microcircuits, a refrigerator complex and a toilet factory!
