Yes, there isn't any official news about this. I have seen some cryptocurrency news related to Russia. And it seems they are not ready to legalize cryptocurrency. Recently, many Russian banks are testing the cryptocurrency system. But that doesn't mean they accept crypto market.

Russia don't have much crypto like other counties. For example China has a lot of bitcoin as well as ethereum because of biggest mining pools inside the country.
