In my opinion, bitcoin is a failure on the traditional side of currency. Bitcoin is not a valuable storage engine. Bitcoins are everywhere but can not be used as a means of exchange.

Bitcoin is a crypto currency that is perfectly work online transaction, that is acceptable all over the world. Therefore bitcoin is the leading of all crypto in coinmarket cap, including on trading platform, it appears as the best. Finally, bitcoin can not fail easily, because is stronger in ecosystem.

Yes, you are right, but it is still a means of exchange. Nothing has changed much. We have given it that much value and now its more of an asset it is also not easy to get since it has a limited number in the system. Aside that, not all countries accept bitcoin and so it is best we give it value to become an asset for investment.

How can you say that BTC failed as a currency when it's only in the beginning of its way to the common utilization? Or you thought it can work out without any interruprtion from the governmental side? We need a couple of years more to see if it works to make such statements IMO

Can change, but i think in two-three years not now. And no by bitcoin but by another cryptocurrency, which will be better to using for mass of people.

Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I think no because bitcoin is used for online transaction and the price of bitcoin is not stable, but if bitcoin become stable maybe it might be possible that bitcoin will become currency, but for now, there's no chance that bitcoin will be used as currency.

The other reason every country have their own currency so where do you think the country of bitcoin?

Bitcoin is decentralized and we couldn't just credit it to China or other countries as their currency.
Yes I agree with you because if you are investors you can see the bitcoin price now is not stable but I think in a long term the price might be stable.

The volatility doesn't really affect ones ability to pay. Moreso, the budgeting behind the funds used to pay. We have had some serious scaling issues, and aren't quite out of the woods yet. But the volatility doesnt really affect the protocol much. It was made to operate through a range of coin prices, and does so pretty well.

How do you define failed?  Failed in the means of its value? if thats the case then that is not a failure because the price drop or price fluctuations to be specific are just normal and always happen in the crypto world. Bitcoin doesnt failed us to deliver a good service .bitcoin is not a failed currency because we did already see its success , if  bitcoin was really failed then we shouldnt see it becoming popular thesedays .

Bitcoin prize is changing every day but not like other fiat currencies, so it is very hard to use bitcoin as a currency. If bitcoin will stable in future then there is no issue to use as currency.

To be a currency would need a long process, do not think that bitcoin fails to be a currency because it takes time.

Actually for me, there is no great issue if bitcoin will remain to be a currency or not. Though originally, it had been created to become a currency, it became successful as an asset for investment. And I think it is better. Because come to think of it, if bitcoin will remain to be a currency, what country will use it regularly? Although it would be a universal currency.

Right now bitcoin can not be currency for payment because not many merchant accept it and government dont have regulation on bitcoin. I think in the future when technology more advance, bitcoin can be as payment because with crypto we can more safely to store our asset

Then what? I don't think this was such a big issue. So what if bItcoin become more successful as a tool for investment? In this way many Bitcoin users are benefiting from it. Also, I don't think about your description to bitcoin as "not successful currency", first of all we should accept that it was way different from the traditional currency that you are referring therefore it may also excel differently.

The price of Bitcoin is not stable but it is still not consider as a fail currency. The price is still improving, it doesn't increase faster but it is having a little improvement every single day.

I am not favor with this that bitcoin had failed as a currency. It is because for me the fight or the career of bitcoin is still fighting and going. In general, we can say that a thing or things had failed when it is done or finish. Yes it is quite hard for bitcoin to become a currency in general because it will fight against the most complex and most trusted currencies with also supported with the government but still chances are there. But if in the industry of crypto currencies the success of bitcoin will be not questionable because it already showcase its success.

I think it cant. Its already 11 years old but it still can not be a currency. eventhough in the most thrive of blockchain technology it dont have any big improve. There is so many new coin is greater than bitcoin if use it in to transaction. But the season bitcoin is still alive because its marketcap is biggest, but its decreasing. Its the sign of bitcoin crisis. I think bitcoin is like Nokia in the mobile world, there will be some samsung and apple guys can beat it. And it will be the coin can solve all the problems of bitcoin, to be truely a currency.

Not yet. You still can buy much goods and services with BTC.
Yes, it's better compatible with big purchases, imho, like real estate, cars etc.
Probably full implementing Lightning protocol will solve this problem, cause transactions speed is much faster.

Yes, the process is not easy; as we can see, Bitcoin is still improving, it is still on the proce of becoming better digital currency. There's no doubt that after a couple of years it will be more consistent.
