I use Bitcoin as an asset. But I have thoughts that Bitcoin can become a currency of payment, because many already use it as a means of payment. It takes time to develop

bitcoin in my opinion its decentralized economy not treated as fiat  like paper currency , bitcoin is treated as digital currency that can be used as payment mode of things which we bought or purchase like  coffee in coffee shop or pizza or many more . bitcoin is not failed just some countries hard to understand this technology they want to bring bitcoin under regulations so they can put tax  but main purpose of bitcoin is like decentralized economy that has no rules no govt  no single power to control the money, but hopefully bitcoin can survive this regulations .

Another reason that every country has their own money, so what country do you think of bitcoin? There are people who use Bitcoin as currency, so it did not fail. It may seem weird when people use currency as an investment choice because we see our traditional currency devaluate every day, without interest, otherwise we will also invest and not only pay for your needs. It can be achieved when many stores from different sectors start accepting BTC as payment and therefore when the demand for digital money increases.

can be said impossible if bitcoin is used as currency.
why I say so, because the number of bitcoins is limited and will not be enough to be shared around the world...

What is wrong if it is being used an an investment medium ? Many such options had been popular like stocks and are running for years.

Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I think in time and soon it will happen, actually it is already happening in other countries as mode of payments now so it means it is currency. it will indeed happen in the future.

Actually for me, there is no great issue if bitcoin will remain to be a currency or not.  The cryptocurrency ideology is just taking shape in most countries, and they have not had a proper chance to properly establish themselves as a currency.

in contrast, there is a technical opportunity in bitcoin to learn, for example, that several satoshs that make up the salary of a kindergarten teacher were formerly part of the killer's fee and were received from the sale of a dose of heroin to a teenager

I think no because bitcoin is used for online transaction and the price of bitcoin is not stable, but if bitcoin become stable maybe it might be possible that bitcoin will become currency, but for now, there's no chance that bitcoin will be used as currency.

The other reason every country have their own currency so where do you think the country of bitcoin?

Bitcoin is decentralized and we couldn't just credit it to China or other countries as their currency.
yes i agree with your opinion. Bitcoin price is not stable so this is not possible.

Today bitcoin have become more of a tool for speculative investments, and less of a medium of value exchange. For bitcoin or another cryptocurrency it will be a long way to be used as a main currency. The decentralized, unregulated nature of cryptocurrencies adds to the challenges of high volatility in cryptocurrency valuation

maybe bitcoin can not be money only in some countries only. but in certain countries bitcoin can already be used like paper currency.  i believe that one day bitcoin users will beat all payment systems like paypal...

I believe that when Bitcoin is used as a practical currency beyond speculators, volatility will decrease.
And Volatility in Bitcoin is something of a concern for something that is meant to be a store of value. However, the simple fact is that it was bought for speculation, and not as a store of value or a medium of exchange. The number of speculators dwarfs the number of people who buy Bitcoin for some practical use. Speculation is suitable for fast buying and selling moves, while people who really use currency depend on it.

when Fiat in the tram took out his pocket did not think that it was money that was in dirty hands. it's not the coin that does bad things, it's the people. and bad, you can do a silver fork, so take them and be banned.

If Bitcoin's price was at a fixed price, it could have become a real currency. Bitcoin we can trade online.

The crypto used is an asset system that is investment. I wonder why some people think that Bitcoin is the currency. significantly in the future will not change the statement about Bitcoin just as an investment

Why do you think that bitcoin was defeated? Nothing like this ! The falls of bitcoin were observed throughout the entire period of its existence! Bitcoin is alive. Grin

Yes, BTC completely is failed in the form of medium or currency.  Most of the people use it as an investment tool. People like to hold it and want to earn capital gain instead of daily use.

Although bitcoin is used as an asset but bitcoin will still be used as currency. Bitcoin is used as an asset because it can increase its value, and it is more profitable.
