The people who are starting the business in Bitcoins or investing in Bitcoins just because the price change of bitcoins from 2013 to 2017... And people are greedy enough to run before profit so they invested in Bitcoin and they just use it as a thing for trading from which they can make from profit and not as a currency while Bitcoin is the common currency all over the world.

Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I will not totally agree to it that bitcoin has failed as a currency though the attempts have been frustrated severally. I do not see the bitcoin losing focus on this as it will surely come to full operation soon; bitcoin is the main currency of the future. The governments and all the bodies fighting against it will only have to come to terms with it on the long run.

Personally, I understand why people would think that Bitcoin has failed as a currency but I think otherwise. I do not consider it as a failure, it is indeed something that needs to be improved on but not a failure as a whole since there are people who are still utilizing it as a mode of payment regardless of its volatility. I just see that people now is utilizing Bitcoin more as an asset since it is more profitable that being a currency.

I disagree. Bitcoin hasn't failed yet. it's just 9 years old. We can't say if it will be accepted for what is intended to be or not. We can just wait and see for ourselves and just hope for a positive result.

For me the best things to do about that since bitcoin was more effective in investment. Ican say that in the near future since it was investments before it will spread around the world so that it will be able to use in any where sot it might also become a currency nor a payment system ang digal money it can also replace the paper money because it promotes also wealth ang progress.

Bitcoin is a currency. Because there are already many traders who accept bitcoin for payment.
Bitcoin is an investment and a currency that many people already acknowledged it. Bitcoin frees us to use it and there is no forbid, to make it as an investment or "asset" but for now many people use bitcoin as a long-term investment.

This assertion will definitely change when people  understand how to use bitcoin as currency for any business transaction but not just an investment tool. We all need to make bitcoin work as a currency by upholding its value.

It is necessary to distinguish between real currencies and digital. And I do not think that Bitcoin did not embody itself as a currency since at the time there was created a lot of possibilities for payment on the Internet with its help. He will be our future.

Of course the situation should change, just need more time. Many do not yet understand with what they are dealing. In order for Bitcoin to become a currency, its rate should grow seriously. And for this it is necessary to popularize it and of course invest. It is not a matter of one day and not even one year. The world is already ready for these changes. Our task is to bring the conceived business to the coveted culmination.

I don’t think so. Bitcoin grew up in few years and became world known financial asset. Its price is very high even now. The use of bitcoins is growing everywhere. So I believe in it and I think that it will continue its growth and will be a global currency.

I dont think so. because if bitcoin failed as a currency, it is impossible for companies like Samsung and Bmw to want to implement payments using bitcoin like the news we know lately. it's still too early to say bitcoin failed as a currency. I still see a bright future for bitcoin.

bitcoin is not a failure to become a currency, but now bitcoin is declining in price, bitcoin will become the world currency in the future, because enthusiasts who follow bitcoin are so many, I believe bitcoin will be recognized by the world, because of the times more advanced

bitcoin does not qualify to be an official currency because it does not have an active creator who can provide accountability and periodic policies, in the end bitcoin will only be an asset like gold. The fluctuations that occur at this time do not make it fail because there is always an appreciation from speculators and traders, too extreme price movements are a pleasure.

Bitcoin as of now can never be a currency because bitcoin is lack of properties as a currency compared to real money.
