Oh, This thread are going to draw shills, like a turd draws flies.  Bitcoin is far from being perfect, so let's accept that. One - We cannot scale to mainstream use, without the Lightning Network. Two - We have some serious security issues with some of the third party software, where Bitcoin is used. Three - The volatility is a major issue for some merchants.  |

You might be the first person who is seeking reasons not to invest in Bitcoin. If someone asks for reasons on why he should invest in Bitcoin than I can understand but asking why not to invest in bitcoin doesn't makes sense. If you don't want to invest in Bitcoin than don't, why looking for reasons to not invest in it.

Probably this is the reason of any body who joins in this forum and participate on different campaign but after that we can actually invest in bitcoin. Sell and buy for the amount that is low more than selling to have profit. Do not have money to start with find ways to have it, others do not want to take the big risk and contented with the earnings from campaigns. |

I don't have a reason why I will not invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin is a good investment and it is the best investment I entered. As you can see, there are more movement and profit here in the crypto market. For me, it is better that the circulation is active and more volume of trade.

So there has been a lot of hype about bitcoin lately and I know it is revolutionary and has lots of advantages. But let's try to state the reasons why exactly do you personally think that bitcoin is not great and lacks in some points. I know it has great applications and is just great but it is not falwless right?
My question is simple and straight, What are the flaws of bitcoin?
Except its high volatility and "Dark use" (in illegal activities).
Even still the bitcoin is in perfect shape to invest we cant really relay in this platform and put all of our money in this platform because still the market is still a gamble even we know that the price will go up and we have a small time and the market value of bitcoin could go to the moon we still have a doubt and the game will go up fast also that means that the dump will also happening in just a small amount of time surely. |

There is no reason for you not to invest in bitcoin.Because bitcoin is a very essential thing.In bitcoin you can make your time and effort so very productive.You can gain and earn so much money in bitcoin and can be very successful. |

Those security issues are really a problem =/ Your post is very good and those are really problems to consider. Besides that we still have mining centralization cartel. But these are minor issues and bitcoin will solve them. Soon we will have more secure wallets (which are still very complicated and unsafe for many people) |

Its not a flaw to be new, it's not a flaw if you can't see it physically, only problem, if that is a problem at all, is that bitcoin has some difficulties in acceptance, but with new generations that are more technology oriented will change everything. Old people are traditional, everything new is strange for them, when new generations comes all world will accept bitcoins. So buying bow and holding until that moment is great thing to do. |

I think this forum is not the right place for you because all users here trust bitcoin and you cant get an answer to your question here we will not look at its negative side because we sincerely beleive in it.
I believe the important part of being a forum is covering all opinions of the spectrum , it's part of th free speech and it helps the discussion to make Bitcoin even better! |

I can't see that much flaws in bitcoin. When there's a network spam the fees are increasing so this can be one of it. Another thing is that it's mostly attacked by those bitcoin cash people so that's one reason why others are losing appetite to bitcoin because there's a division to the bitcoin people. |

There is no reason for not investing because it is profitable, we are just afraid to put are money because we think that we might not get profit especially if we have no other source of income to support our needs and some emergency. Cannot hold that tight for long year investment which is not only lose profit but also lessen the value of investment. |

The only reason I see is if you don't have enough money to buy into bitcoin and you think that it's the only way to make more money, or don't understand bitcoin well enough and you're just joining the hype and hopefully replicate the success of others. Other than that, i think are excuses of people or FUDs. The technology behind bitcoin is really innovative, and several giant financial institutions or banking on its potential, meaning there's something really good about it. This already explains a lot as to why should one consider investing in bitcoin IMO.

I think that the main drawback of bitcoin is that it is still being used little. Still too few people use crypto-currencies. The coin is only useful when it is needed by many people. But I do not consider the dark past of bitcoin as a drawback. |
