The idea of diversification has saved many from making huge losses from investments..
Diversification means to divide your investment capital and invest in different lines of investment opportunities instead of just investing in one.
This way, the loss from one investment can be cancelled with the profit from investment B or C.
This is so true, aside from the diversification, a platform that can be use to compare the prices of all kinds of coins from all exchanges will make better trading performance gaining more of the profit. Consider Bitgap while its free and see how itvworks for trading. Just be sure that all the coins you have kept will be stored in a secure wallet, we can afford to loss all oir investment all at once. If you have multiple coins, never keep it long in an exchange you can choose Hodler wallet which is the new and only open source wallet that could secure your assets. Never trust most of the closed source wallet, tgey don't provide any private key which make you less aware of whatvis happening in your funds

It is always good to diversify the portfolio of investment in other to widen the chances of making good returns. When you invest in several coins, definitely, one or two of them will become success and meet its expectation.

reduction in risk != rise in profit; it means safety, nothing more - nothing less.
Yes, even though it reduces the risk but it doesn't mean you can freely get the profit. Because, it just minimizes the risk like you said. It looks dumb when someone said that you can get profit without no risk, in reality that's really bullshit.

Golden rule: If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

There is no investment which is 100% risk free; and anyone who states otherwise is most likely attempting to scam.

It is more imperative to diversify your investment as to avoid total lose. When you have 500$ for example ensure to diversify your portfolio in order to maximize profit; 200$ can go for portfolio "A" while the other 150$ can go for portfolio "B" and the remaining amount 150$ can go for portfolio "C". At the point of maturity, two of these portfolio are likely to succeed which make the investment profitable in diversification.

The verified investment will indeed make your portfolio better with a good calculation in managing each investment, but if he does not have fixed money to invest, he means investment is gradual, I think it doesn't matter as long as you are able to be patient and indeed the investment is to long term investment.

right, indeed that is what we have to do, so that there are many opportunities to gain profit with different levels of risk. that way you will not fall into adversity, because investment in crypto is very risky

Diversifying your investment might be baneficial at a certain extend like minimizing your risk but you need to spend extra time in order to keep yourself updated about all assets you have and figure out right price to trade. While you are trying to minimize you're lost, you may lose more or don't see opportunities, if you don't have enough time and care. I suggest you to keep not more than 5 or 6 coins in your portfolio because a portfolio contains 5 or 6 coins is manageable for an individual.

Diversification certainly helps to reduce investment risks, it`s even more efficient if you also invest outside Crypto. I`d suggest researching investment in gold, this might be a good option to make some relatively reliable savings.
As for Crypto itself, share the rest between Bitcoin and some of the top altcoins. Keep on tracking the situation later and react to what`s going on, but avoid panic selling at all costs. If you diversify correctly, then you won`t lose all of your investment in one go.

I would highly recommend avoiding alt-coins. And it would not spread the risk to buy multiple alts since they are all based on the same technology. Want to diversify? Buy some bitcoin, gold, real estate, stocks, etc.
Yeah, I think investing in only bitcoin is enough for making crypto investment. The altcoins are just too risky to invest for long-term and I also believe the best way to diversify is to invest on other form of investments such as real estate, stock, and gold - not the other way around.

Short-term investments are called day trading. if you do it right and understand it is very profitable. therefore, day-to-day professional trading is most likely more difficult but more profitable than long-term investment

For certain. There is no such thing as risk free in investment. It always entails risk with it. As to diversifying one's investment, it is a good thing provided that it will be invested on well researched and good coins. Although btc is a good choice, one can also choose well from altcoins. Just have careful consideration on the nature of coins to focus on.

Usually they recommend you to diversify your investment, so you avoid losses.

But as a real approach, having $1.5k, would you invest in how many cryptocurrencies ?

What if I invest little by little, only in Bitcoin, would that work as well ?
If you want to have an assurance, then you ought to invest in bitcoin as it is the most trusted coin out there. It is better to invest on it all in if ever you see a great opportunity like a lower price rather than slowly putting money to it waiting for a much lower price. You never know how the price will go so there is a chance that you might wait a while if the price recovered and increases for a long time.

That is true, it is because their will be possible a big profit will come along if with effort and perseverance to achieve what we aim for. The life long investment is with bitcoin though we need to think for more strategies what we called a SWOT Analysis that can be determine what is the right path for it.

Diversifying your investment on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is such a good idea for making profit and committing losses. Maybe 50 percent in your investment in bitcoin and the other 50 in top 5 other cryptos.

Very well said. Just as in every investment, diversifying a portfolio limits the risk of an investor losing all the money to a single investment. Aside this rule, it is also good to study the project and market very well and select the best coins or project to invest in.

as a beginner more people invest gradually, because there are many benefits that we can get by trading in stages because we will indirectly learn about bitcoin and price movements from time to time,  because we in the future can make choices by knowing the potential price increases which we have mastered gradually,  other benefits if we are wrong and experience our losses can be avoided from losses in large quantities because we do not put our money at once.

Investing in bitcoin is not recommendable step on investment. Bitcoin is highly volatile nowadays but on the downward side. It is a good choice if you are going to just put in in banks for a while just to extinguish the time while the market is still red. When there comes a sign of life then invest it. You can also try investing in other coins.

I think divesify of the investments is the way how people invest and i dont think it would be really necessary to diversify your investments. The important think of investments is the knowledge and the trust of the project, i think it totally okay to invest all of your money into one project but you should sure that its not a scam project and it's a good one.
