Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?

It depends on the rule of the bounty. You should already know when you're going to receive the tokens before joining and it's important to participate only in legit projects.

Looking at the project as a whole and looking at the team behind it, is very important in my opinion.

If you want to have a look and get some information in a good Bounty campaign that has just started, I can suggest you RAWG.

They have just started a very rich bounty program for everyone who is willing to participate:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4147507

In these days, they also launched a special bounty, which allows you to get up to 100 dollars for a single tweet or facebook post!!! Depending on the number of your followers.

Have a look, because it is a great opportunity to quickly earn a nice amount of their tokens:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4147507.msg40536596#msg40536596

The ICO site is this one: https://token.rawg.io/. It's a video game discovery platform that converts your skills into goods and services.

You can earn tokens by playing your favorite games. The site is already working, with more than 50,000 games in the database and new games are getting added every day. This is the site: https://rawg.io/

Quite good looking, don't you think?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I have one bounty that require me to wait 6 months to receive my rewards, well that is not a short time to wait. But then I would follow their rule and that is the only thing that I could do.

I do not advise you to participate in such bounty.  As for me, it's better to find a good bounty, where coins are paid a month after the end of the ICO.

Sometimes there are campaigns that will take a lot of time before they give you your reward for completing and finishing the task of the their campaigns. some of them doing some regulatory process on their ico and also there are campaigns that need a KYC first before you get your reward because i do experience that thing. even i waited much for a long time i do not regret participating on those campaign because i do earn what i do work for and i do gain a lot of experience because of that and thats the reason that we need to do a lot of research first on the campaign that we want to participating before we get ourselves in.

It depends on the project itself. You must follow the recent news of their progress. If you found that the project is not update, its better you sell your bounty rewards. Otherwise, your rewards will has no value in the next a few months.

When you get your reward depends on the ICO team strategy and plan, and each project has its own schedule. I think it is quite normal to wait six months for a reward. I know some people who participated in the bounties up to less than a year old.
exscudo is project with more than 1 year for waiting bounty lol
normally bounty only needs less than 5 months. i usually judge if bounty more than 6 months is scam

6 months is a very long time, there should be some catch, usually paid within a month or two months. Check with the project Manager what is the reason.

I have taken part in many bounty campaigns and usually bounty rewards are distributed one week after the ICO ends, however, different projects take different amount of time to distribute their tokens. If you've taken part in the bounty campaign of an ICO which is creating its own blockchain then it would take time for bounty distribution as the team would have to make the blockchain live before distributing your coins.

It's very unpleasant, I understand you. But it's better to get your coins in a year than nothing at all. It happens often...

6 months? No. It is not normal.
Usually coins are paid out 2-4 weeks after the end of the ICO.  A maximum of 2 months.

That is most likely a scam. I'm joining one right now that has only extended. There is no any valid reason for them to distribute the rewards and make it up to that long. I'm sorry to hear it mate but you've been scammed.

Agreed. I think it's just scammers or they decided to extend the ICO without payments. After holding the signature you continue to advertise them. Or maybe they just want to pay you with income from the actions of the company and initially did not expect to be paid with the raised funds.

But unfortunately, a lot of companies pay not soon. And if paid, then it is not realistic to sell them. Because they are not on the stock exchange

For me I dont really recommend a long bounty , because they tend to be a scam , you should read all of their information weather they are credible or not, there are bounties that you can literally say that this is credible and this companies will not put your time in to waste, so always check weather the company is a real one or not . It is not bad to ask question , it is bad if you dont because you will be mislead by all of the information out there.

It's not normal to wait for a 6 month payout.  If this is a good company, then usually the coins are paid a month later.

This is quite normal, because some projects often write that they will not pay anything for a while and it can be longer than 6 months, so I do not think this is a big gap, the main thing is that during this time the project has not lost its existence.

I think you will not get your coins any more.  Or these coins will cost very little.  Good companies pay coins a few weeks after the end of the ICO.

It can be normal is some cases. If the project decided to start the bounty before they start the project developmental work, the hunters might have to wait a long time before they get paid. I have seen a project like that, a very promising one that did the same.

Most cases I know of, your bounty tokens will be paid to you but will be locked for 6 months or thereabout. Haven't heard of distributing tokens after 6 months.
