Recently many people who bought bitcoin years ago find themselves sitting on an untouchable bounty. Those lucky guys who purchased or mined just a few bitcoins at the start of the age of cryptocurrency nowadays can boast about their savings. However, some of them are now in a painful limbo, because they can't remember the complex security passwords needed to get to their bitcoin wallet. Unlike a bank, bitcoin has no central hotline to call for a reset. This is really a bad thing,it's like forgetting a bank account password, but there's no bank to call to reset it. That money is lost forever. That might be a lot of money at today’s exchange rate.

Actyally, this bad thing happened to me last year, and my friend recommend  this website:http://recovermybtc.com/ to me,she said she has retrieved her bitcoin wallet password through it,and I download this software,it really works after I used it,and you need to pay some service fee to them, but it's not high.Somebody who lost their bitcoin password can make a try, good luck.
In my knowledge there is no way to recover the lost private keys of the wallets if once lost then your bitcoin will be sleeping forever. But if someone can recover our passwords then they also can steal the funds from anyone so they no need to recover passwords for us they will take away all our bitcoin if it is possible so people need to be careful while entering into these kind of websites.

If you lost your privatekey, there is no way to recover it.
If you have your wallet.dat and lost your password, and if there’s slightest chance you do remember parts of your password, or the origin of it,then there’s a very big chance that you can retrieve your wallet password.

I often forget my password but since I use same password to all my account, it never happen. I know it's too risky but if i din't do it, I will always forget my password. Don't try this like me. I suggest to write in notepad or paper and keep them safe.

Frankly speaking there isn't anything you can do after you have lost the password to your bitcoin wallet. If it was less than 3-4 words than maybe something can be done but if it is complex and lengthy than one should forget that he will ever be able to recover their bitcoins ever. Thats why one needs to take the most safety measures in regards to them.

No one, neither a Russian Hacker nor MI6, or the FBI and the NSA will be able to crack that password to your crypto wallet. Mostly you know what the password should have been but maybe you are one character off or the capitalization is off, these common mistakes are the most likely reason that you are locked out of your wallet

The password is used to unlock the address of your bitcoin wallet, and if you forget the password, you can't trade them.

If there is a way to crack people's bitcoin wallets when the password is lost, then the encrypted currency is worthless!

Be careful of trusting your "recovery" to a third party app. You shouldn't trust any of them and there's no such as bitcoin recovery unless you remember the private keys or seeds somewhere.

Don't be so gullible that OP is really trying to help you but he's just getting your information that can be used against you, your bitcoin, your account, etc.

I have my passwords  on a special USB drive and, moreover, print it on a separate page. As for me concerns,  I don't trust any password recovery sites.

I think almost all account has an backup info, in case of emergency.  If they forgot their password but the username was there and it is connected through gmail, you can recover it at 90% chance if it is connected.  But if your account was not connected to any account, goodbye to your account and the money you have because there are no possible way unless you remember your password.

it is perfectly. but where are the guarantees that these guys will not be able to recover your password and just do not steal your money? I think there is only one option: always write down your password.

I used it last week, actually, some people maybe had confusion that bad guys have the chance to steal their wallet money when the software decrypt the password, but that software can operate without a network so that user can protect their’ confidentiality, and it doesn’t upload any of your information, without giving them any opportunity to steal your money.

Nice try trying to lure bitcoin newbies into getting some private info and potentially stealing other wallet credentials. Even if such an application operates offline, it can still potentiall store the data it gathered somewhere without you noticing, and upload it once the machine is connected to the internet. If you lost your privkey, that's it. No amount of computing power today can brute-force it. Even wallet passwords is a hard feat and it wouldn't be viable to guess it for, let's say even a quad-core CPU which most PCs and laptops have. Do not fal for this, please.

Actually you can make you computers offline all the time until the password was obtained, and until the coins has been transferred ,then make the computer connect the Internet.

I had download the software through that website, and i feel it’s an advanced and extremely fast passwords recovery tool for encrypted bitcoin wallets, and it has created a highly optimized multi-threaded program to perform the brute-force decryption, i had tested that software through this professional website https://www.virustotal.com/
, it's a useful and safe software.

there is nothing I can do if I forget my wallet password, maybe create a new wallet. unless you still have a vetyll key, it's probably one of the solutions if I forget my wallet password,
passwords and keys are the most important thing to me because this is the essence of my wallet, it must save my password file in my private place Smiley

If you forget the password of your bitcoin wallet then you will lost your coins there. When you talked about private key such as password or everything you need to do care for it because this is the way to access your account. But if you don't want to memorize your privacy much better if you save it to your google doc so you don't need to think i t and to be protected and safe.

If you forget your wallet password this can be a big loss, if you forget your password it also means that you have also lost your wallet, make sure you have a copy of your password on your desk or on your phone, somewhere safe that no one can find it, make sure that your email address is verified as you can also reset your password on your mail, this might even be the only solution on recovering your password, so please be careful and be mindful.

Yeah, actually I fear guys able to hack forgotten passwords, which means Bitcoin is not as safe as many of us thought - I do not mean to call the OP a liar but if it is that easy possible to recover passwords, and if there is a platform offering to get PW's from addresses, I see a huge possibility for scamming.

I also met someone recently who owns bitcoin before. He told me that he uses it to buy chips for pokers when btc is just new, if only he knew how much it would costs today, he should have kept his password. Now ge can't remember how much BTC left in his account but its around 2 or 4. He stopped using it when he got busy with his work. But he's not that devastated coz he got it when it was too cheap. And he's not into crypto until now, maybe he's not that greedy and he knows that there's no point in regretting or something. He's just too optimistic.
