No one knows which coin will explode in 2018 or after that,it all depends on the market situation.If you invest on the altcoin it also comes with great risks because many altcoin will lose its value in years,but coin like DOGE is in the use for long so it might b a safe coin to invest.BUt I always go with bitcoin and investing on altcoin is just wasting of time in my opinion.

Things are very much unpredictable in the world of the crypto currencies and that you can’t be sure about anything no matter how good the things are. You just need to be sure that you are doing your best and that you have opted the best possible coin for the sake of investing money and that you should hold that coin for as long as you can because this will help you in having more earning at the end.

How long should we hold coins?
In the past 3 weeks, despite all the risks, many investors have hold a large number of coins such as TRX, XVG, XRP, ADA, etc. ranging from good to bad coins including DGB, DOGE.

The criteria to assess a coin:
1. General information about that coin
2. The purpose of generating the coin
3. The dev team (do more or say much)?
4. What is the current product? In what stage?
5. Are there existing customers? Potential customers?
6. Vision of future coin? Is it realistic or just expressed in words?
7. Scalability?  Can it be accepted by the public? Is it possible to apply to everyday life?

I spend little time tracking the prices. Most of the time is spent on reading news, evaluating coins to make investment decisions. I also spend only 10-15 minutes on technical analysis (It’s not because I view it as unimportant, I’m just get used to it). As a result, I have bought a lot of coin at a very good price. I bought when you were there saying: how can it increase again. I left you far behind, at present, it is greatly safe for all my investments because my investment value has increased by several to tens of times.

You can say whatever in case of rising price, even when you invest in shitcoin. However, when the price falls this low, my balance seems to keep stable thanks to my calculation and comprehensive knowledge about coins. Once investing in a coin, I strongly believe in its future. I choose the right time to buy more coins without any fear of risk!

So how long to hold coins? The answer is that you go learn more thoroughly and comprehensively about the coins you want to invest in and make your decisions.

To hold a coins is depend on your belief, if you know it well you will hold for sure. Like for example Xem/Nem this alts is one of the coins which is good to hold in long term. Because it has a strong community, always giving updates to their community and a stable company too. Meaning, you must hold if there are some investors really love it and the buy support is strong not weak. This is for my opinion only.

It’s probably up to every thought or plan at all. Maybe some makes a decision through belief, but some holds , it’s just because they feel like more safe to hold it. As I see that most of people now are having a trend to hold when the fluctuation has fallen off  because maybe they don’t want to lose too much. Also do I think that holding is much more better in anyway, because the crypto market is well-known for it volatility. Sometimes one just has to turn off their computer and go do something, anything else. Go do a healthy hobby that will get your body moving and take your mind off of crypto, do anything non-crypto related that brings you joy. This will give people a good balance to making level-headed decisions and not overwhelm themselves and miss something bc their heads in it 24/7. That is right, but i think that it is not possible for a new comer to identify the correct place for investment, although it is always right to invest your money in dept, but it is also too much important that you must know the place where you investment can be more safe and secure, for this you need to do study regularly and identify the right place for your investment.

What most people are not understanding with altcoin is that they are more like a speculative instrument which is more like in and out all the time and most people are only use this medium to increase what they are holding in the long run which is something no one should place so much of their mind on unless they are just so sure of the coin they are holding to have an extremely explosive future with respect to growth.

In 2018 we can't predict the coins which one is best to hold. All coins shows their good growth nowadays. Always bitcoin is the best coin to hold for long-term as well as short-term. Investing on the bitcoins is the best ever choice in my knowledge because it has been giving lot of profits who holds it in long term,but predicting that with altcoin is quite tough task because most of the altcoins prices are moving according to the bitcoin price movement then you we need to invest on then we can just invest directly on bitcoin to minimize the risk.

Switch off your internet till the end of these years and don’t even look at bitcoin price and other related issues. This is the easiest way to hold your bitcoin in 2018. The price is growing and selling would be the worst decision if you make. Just focus on the money you will make in 2019 when the price will be more than $25k, then it will be easy for you to hold your bitcoin.

Asides your belief, I guess it is so much dependent on how much you expect the future of what you are holding to give you something tangible. A lot of people usually do not always know this and they just pick anything to invest in as long as they believe the profit is going to be there but they miss the part where it is always better to hold something that is sustainable than a pump and dump coin. At the tail of it all, it is dependent on the person in question.

You’re even taking more risk by holding all those little coins that can end up anytime. It’s best that you continue to hold Bitcoin and Ethereum, cause this one are sure to last for a long time and whenever the price falls, you will still have hope that it will go up the next year. Ever since I got into Bitcoin and crypto investment I have never used any other cryptocurrency except Bitcoin and Ethereum. Using others are taking risks.

This is the second time I’m coming across this post and my thought was what do you mean by how to hold Bitcoin in 2018, was there any changes that took place or what? Holding Bitcoin is still the same way as you used to do it before, just HODL and nothing else, and wait for the price to go up and you will make your profit.
