He is the CEO of PayPal, what would you expect? If i was a CEO of PayPal or a Bank, i would say the same thing. But I would keep buying BTC or other cryptocurrencies as well. I fully Trust blockcain and bitcoin. I believe that CEO of PayPal has much more BTC than most of us. Probably he is buying and hodling bitcoin.

Who cares about this opinion of PayPal CEO (Bill Harris)?
I am pretty sure that this view could be due to the fact of the major financial loss in PayPal because of the presence of Bitcoin in the market and their development over time in the value of price, market cap, volume and even their users which has become hugely high. In fact, all of this negatively affects on PayPal.
On the other hand, I see that many businessmen and CEO in the field of funds become afraid of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, I think all these bad opinions do not affect On bitcoin, and it is certain that this new era of digital currency will develop in many ways and will be better than the previous.

This is exactly the case, we could hear these kind of outburst from bankers and financial sector SEO that are dumb struck because their business model is challenged and the world will move on from their business model simply because of the authority that bitcoin gives us, paypal has a history of freezing user accounts without any warning and now they are talking about bitcoin.  |

Where did you read that? Please add source too. If this person really said this, it's a shame. Just shut up and don't say so silly things or at least spread lies in a better way. Bitcoin is scam and paypal isn't? Their system sucks for sellers and it's widely known, at first they have to work on themselves, why to blame bitcoin, so great cryptocurrency for no reason? |

I think this is a whale plot to reduce the exchange rate of the cryptocurrencies market. Can you give a link for everyone to see? Because if there is no link, then the information you provide is not accurate, and it will make the psychology of investors become panicky and quickly lead to panic sell influences the exchange rate of the market. |

nothing new , many biggies said same thing about bitcoin including tycoon warren buffet . banks already declared it ponzi scheme and bubble . so let them say what they wish , also let them try to regulate it and ban it . as long as community is strong cryptocurrency is going nowhere . |

Lols pitty on them that trash talk Bitcoin. The truth is Bitcoin is hurting paypal so much that many freelancers including me choose Bitcoin to get paid.
Warren buffet is even calling Bitcoin fraud, because crypto currency is hurting his stock position. People are all shifting to crypto.
Jaime Demon, is also trash talking Bitcoin because its hurting his bank.

You're right. Such a statement in today's time is ridiculous. Bitcoin has proven in the last years that he is not a scam. I also think it's because paypal now sees bitcoin as a kind of threat. |

Their business has been disrupted ever since Bitcoin was launched and hence they see it as a threat. Very often you would find CEOs bitching about the companies which can turn their profitable businesses into losses, and PayPal's Former CEO is no different. The entire world knows about the potential of cryptos and are banking on it to be the future. Old means like PayPal might go out of business if cryptos successfully take over the world. Let him have his own opinion. Nothing will change that and it doesn't even matter. |

as expected for a certain guy who's really afraid for his built industry to collapse, well atleast bitcoin doesn't hold a certain transaction for too long enough for a person to get pissed and give up on his hard earn money. Atleast here in Crypto we have reasonable transaction fee compare to his platform, i will not be surprise if one day paypal is now using the blockchain system in order for them to just survive is subtle change. As a piece of friendly advise to him go ask and learn from Jaime of the JP Morgan. Maybe it will help you a lot.
