I still use mew & I don't think that is a serious issu if we aware about it & keep safe our private key.

oh yes. Recently anyone does not hack MEW. they hacked DNS for get the private key through phising. everybody who is on alert can easily get rid from it by seeing the URL. so i believe on MEW as past. they do a lot of work load now and the future. so believe on MEW

I am still use it too. I do believe that the people behind MEW already patched the hole and will always update the security. I am for sure will always use it since this is already become my well known wallet.

After experiencing eth and token is lost or precisely stolen. I amno longer use MEW and more interested in using metamasks. I think that's true, MEW vulnerable theft.

It is difficult to change the habits and uses of MEW. I'm still using MEW and waiting for adjustments from it. But after hacker information attacked MEW via google puclic DNS. I transferred most of the money and coins to Metamas and blockchains to ensure safety. Metamask shows adaptability and usability for Token and ETH like MEW. But it is a simple way to manage multiple wallet codes on the same account. It is easy to see.

Commonly, the MEW wallet is only used as a temporary Token store before being transferred to exchange floors for trade, so I think people will still use the MEW wallet. If you want to hold long-term should use offline hardware wallets like Trezor will be much safer. The DNS hacking also makes people confused and consider using MEW wallet.

I think people will still use the MEW wallet. I will not switch to another. I believe that hacking affects only the majority of countries, dilligence is needed anytime when using crypto no matter which wallet you use.

After further investigation, it seems that MyCrypto essentially “forked” from MyEtherWallet.MEW is still available and in control by its other co-founder Kvhnuke, one of the two founders of MEW.I am still use MEW.

No, presently I am using Trazor hardware wallet for because MEW is not safe more and it is not provide security feature like 2FA. And many time i heare about MEW is hacked. after so many hacking attacks on MEW there is not any serious action taken by MEW team. I think using Trazor hardware wallet is best way to safeguard my coins from hacking attack.

Still recommended,as it would still be the best ethereum and erc20 wallet as of the moment,trusted by the community.The hack wasnt created big problems to the whole network,because it i wasnt exactly a hack by thru these wallets it was the DNs servers which were compromised by these hackers but then it was fixed already so we dont have worry.

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.

even though hardware wallet is still safer, I still use MEW because for me it is easy to access although I am thinking of hardware wallet in order to strengthen my experience and provide more security for my token. the recent security attack will serve as an alert for other blockchain developers to strengthen their platform and also do security auditing every month to access the security risk. we are hearing about MEW hack today, who knows which platform will be hacked next?

I still using Myetherwallet because it can store erc 20 all tokens before come to the market. but i see many peoples are complain for the MEW hacking situation. i know its our lost of losing privatekey. I recommended for it use hardware wallet of nano, ladger wallet.

Exactly. There are many bad news about MEW recently that easily to get hacked that's why I switched to use hardware wallet for best security. Better to keep in secure place inorder to have peace in mind always. Because it hurts a lot if you lost all your hardworking.

Yes, hardware wallet is more secured than any other wallet one can think of and it puts the user's mind at rest, because, he has nothing to fear. We have always been receiving the news of attack on MEW. Just recently, it was an attack on the DNS. Which i think might happen again.

What is a hardware wallet? I keep my wallet on a flash drive, it's kind of called a cold wallet. Is it the same thing or different things? If different, tell that safer, please.
